good
  • betts, thommo, danger (minus a few kicks forward), yolmen, lynch
  • played much better than last week
  • contested footy

bad
  • can't kick straight and wasted inside 50s
  • rory's calf?
  • hendo's shoulder
  • our game plan let them have too much uncontested ball
  • would have been embarrassing without eddie.
  • soft umpiring

ugly
  • van berlo has got to go. **** me he makes me angry. christ
  • jenkins, lost contests to little blokes in the air, looked unco as usual, sits behind packs instead of crashing them.
  • lost to the enemy

Actually not a bad result for an average team like us to not get blown out of the water by one of the up and coming young teams in the competition.

OUT: Cameron
IN: Martin

Jake Kelly has to teach lessons on how not to be soft to Jenkins and Henderson
Henderson , VB and Jenkins please piss off.
Betts great

You cant teach a soft player to be aggressive. Even if you think you can when the pressure goes up more than normal (finals), they revert to what they know the best, their safe place so to speak. The best you can do is cut your losses and delist them

Lynch? I thought he was a selfish hack mostly

I actually think Lynch was great today. Created many of our better opportunities at goal. Couple of selfish moments but lowered the eyes at other times. Too many guys like Cameron in the forward line looking to pass it off every time so someone had to have a go.

Sick of seeing JJ wear the jumper. Back to the twos sweetheart.

Must bring decent kicks in or it will be Walsh's head. Start now and build to something. Grigg, Kerridge and Ramsay. Stop faffing about with the same old hacks.

Forward coach would be pretty handy too. Someone with an idea about entries and forward structure. Looks no different to Sando's forward line atm.

Good
Betts , Thommo, Jake Kelly (will be good) Ellis yolmen played alright as well
I thought Cheny did good enough to be in the good
Bad
the crowd was quiet most of the game.
Charlie Cameron did a few little think but every time he did something good he would **** it up.
Jenkins kicked 2 goals that's it
Ugly
our kicking was disgraceful we could of been 3-4 goals up in that second quarter but we kept missing opportunities.
Jenkins needs to shoulder the ruck more

Good:

Betts
Ellis-Yolmen
Danger
Lynch
Thompson
Laird

Bad:

Goal-kicking (as usual)
Disposal efficiency in the first half was diabolical
The defending at the back

Ugly:

Jenkins. If he doesn't improve as a player he needs to go after this season
Henderson. Like Jenkins, he's soft. I do not want soft players at our footy club. They are both evidence of it
Cameron. He's showing his age and experience.
Cheney. Expected more of him today but he was tripe.
VB. What did he do of use? Anything?
Jacobs. He was s**t all day.

good
  • Betts was pretty good
  • Dangerfield was pretty good
  • Thommo showed he's still got it
  • Our contested ball was amazing
  • We had more inside 50s

bad
  • Our kicking was terrible
  • We lost
  • VB just has to get out of the team, Kerridge in
  • Sloane and Douglas again really mediocre

ugly
  • Sloane and hendo's injuries

Josh Jenkins is a discustingly soft excuse of a footballer. He has to go, but we don't have any other backup/forward for Jacobs. Crows really need to chase hard another KPD and KPF/Ruck. Everything else is solid as.

Good
EDDIE
Danger: got the ball a stack, could have done more with it, but a good return after 2 poor weeks
Thommo: (his 2 goals more than his work in the centre),
CEY: keeps impressing,
Lynch: at times, at times, no.
Kelly: another good game for a kid.

Bad
F*ck me our goal kicking.
F*ck me our field kicking.
Jenkins: Kicked a good goal, but no body in any contests
Henderson: Couldn't hit water if he fell out of a f*cking boat in the middle of the Pacific
Sauce: Terrible game.
VB: Pointless. In the first couple game I thought you could see what we had missed. But in the past 3? Nope.
Sloane: was having a poor one even before the calf.
Charlie Cameron: Maybe I'm biased because I had him in the goal kicking come, but he has gone backwards. He had just 6 touches - the same as Wright had playing just one quarter. That is not good enough for a forwards when the ball has spent so much time in our F50.

Ugly
Umpiring was poor all round. No consistency. We got s**t ones, so did they. No idea what the hell was going on with holding the ball.
71 inside 50s to 42. We hired Walsh to stop there Sando type statistics happening.
