Do I need to say anymore?

Jeez, you could quite easily not let a minor error such as that get in the way, but you did.
There's a difference. Maxwell has the talent to succeed, O'Keefe doesn't.

Then don't make such a stupid error when quoting a post which actually has the amount of tests he's played in.

Just quietly, why is Rogers' position under so much scrutiny yet Haddin is automatically assumed to be playing in Brisbane next month? He's hardly indispensable.

Edit: Haddin has scored 61 runs @ 7.6 in the last two series (9 innings, 1 not out). So unless his keeping is impeccable (not even close), surely he's got to be under serious scrutiny?? Yet Clarke is already saying he should be right for Brisbane??? What!?

2 questions for people that watched the last couple of tests.

What were the pitches like? Purely spinning wickets? If so, did the Pakistani quicks do better than ours?

Because they need to protect Whiteman for 12 months

Roads that helped turn more than pace.

This idea of someone getting a TEST cap to simply protect someone else is a crock of s**t. If Haddin is good enough and his performance warrants selection, then pick him. I don't think it has, so the next best should be playing. Simple.

It'd be silly to drop Haddin now. He's done this his entire career: been s**t hot at home and against England, been poor away, on lower bouncing wickets. A quick look at the fixture tells you what to do. In any case I haven't seen any real serious calls against either them, beyond the obvious "given their ages even one bad series could..."

The idea that he will be kept to protect Whiteman is insane though. If they didn't think Haddin was good enough anymore they can simply pick Nevill, who averages 40 and is the best keeper in the country in the eyes of some

foe the first time in his career Rogers positions does not deem under, scrutiny.

Think Haddin may be a stabilising figure in the rooms too - everything Clarke isnt... not that everything is rosy in that reguard i know.

If pup's back forces him to miss a test in the nest 18 months hadds will skipper the side

So in the event of a tied World Cup final, there will be joint winners named......what in the actual ****??
What's wrong with that super over they do for the T20's? Not that I expect it to happen, but that seems the best solution.

Typical Victoria. Alex Keath scores more runs in the match than 9 other Victorian players and gets dropped. Can I overhaul CV yet? Pretty please?

So a player currently in the ICC ODI team of the year, another who won man of the series in Australia's most recent ODI series and a man who won man of the series in the most recent ODD tournament.

What do they have in common? None are playing today. Unreal. You'd think we'd be hitting full dress rehearsal stage by now, surely???

coz clarke and watson came back. 3 4 5 was taken and 6 is all-rounder (6 and 7 today, for some reason, but that just meant Richardson missed)

ideally watson would go back to opening and one of warner and finch miss out, opening up a spot for White or Smith. at the very least, given finch has played a lot of OD cricket over the past year or two, he should have dropped out to give Smith or White a crack in home (and WC) conditions, similar to Faulkner and Starc dropping out for NCN and Haze

Clarke injured. Genuine question: if he and Haddin are both unfit for the first test, who captains the side? Throw Smith to the wolves or give it to a Siddle or Lyon?
