Nibali and Valverde a few minutes off the pace, but some big hills still to climb.
felt for Nibali during the time trial. the crowd overdid it.

Does anybody else suddenly feel the urge to get back on the bike around this time of year?
Each year I tell myself that I'll set my bike up in front of the TV and pedal the entire time that I'm watching Le Tour. It's difficult to fit a whiskey bottle to my bike though.

I really need to get myself a bike. I live in area with many superb trails and I presently can't take advantage.
I highly recommend the above model - a $50 "Cyclops" MTB with a lick of black housepaint and some green electrical tape.
