Garvey off his rocker. Patti ******* up s**t left right and centre (all dem bodies). Jill might be spiralling away too, girl is relatively ****ed (can't blame her) but hope seeing the GR was just to see her mum.

Loved that episode.

Show is void of laughs, but when Meg and Laurie were on the bench and Meg started yapping away, I found myself saying aloud "shut the * up". Nice of Laurie to comply with that sentiment, even if the GR have to not speak.

Best episode for awhile, probably of the series so far, stuff actually happened.

Was sure that the start was another dream sequence, then you realise its real oooohhh s**t. Patti sure is committed to the cause lol (guess Gladys was too - wonder if Lori knew about it, there were quite a few people throwing rocks from memory).

Guess Lori will be running things now, that will be interesting. If Garvey's mind hadn't snapped in half already it sure will once he gets home and finds his daughter in the GR pledge house and wifey running the joint.

This is a really weird show

It's a head scratcher thats for sure, bit it does look like something is going to happen 'tomorrow'...my wild guess - all the 'missing' rock back up...

Looks like they're going to dress them up. Explains their actions re: breaking into people's homes. Wasnt just to * with them.

I'm guessing dog man has history with the GR in a different town

That just about sums up today's ep. i wonder why they placed it so late in the season, it felt more like a pilot, but it works here because we know them all 3 years on. i think one of the best for the season. I wonder how Jill isnt more F**ked up after that.

Geez - the Nora storyline just makes you said doesn't it.

that is devastating, having your whole family go after the last thing you did with them was yell at them.

I still want to know what the rev did with the money he won at the casino to buy the church back. what did he use it for, or what will he use it for.

But seriously yeah I'd like to see a bit more on that too.

great episode but it really is LOST all over again, no way they can answer all the questions they are asking

^Yeah I do get that feeling

They've said from the outset the disappearance will never be explained, which I'm fine with, but there is a bunch of other weird sh1t going on that in true Lindelof fashion will never be explored, or probably even referred to again after season 1.

Guy is quite good with setups but ****ing terrible at payoffs.

Well, they can't answer the question that underpins the entire show - what happened to all them people - so there isn't any intrigue in why, but more what happens as a result.

I'm on the verge of committing to watch this but a friend (who watches it) has said he has no idea what he is watching or what is going on. Have read through the thread but nothing decisive sticks out one way or the other. Is it worth the investment of time?

It's one of two shows I've looked forward to along with Masters of Sex. Things won't be explained in the first season so there is a lot of mystery at the moment. I don't think it's too hard to follow, you just have to be prepared for the long haul and even then you may not get the answers you want or at all.
