Melbourne's got some great places.
Stay clear of Chin Chin. Bogon chic these days. Their new joint Kong is pretty full-on.
As LP mentioned, Coda is great. Adam D'Slyvia is doing some cool things with food. Heston Blumenfeld was hanging around his restaurants recently. His Indian inspired restaurant Tonka is also good. I prefer Coda though.
Just having a quick look at the menu, coda looks pretty good. How's vue du monde these days? Been years since I've been.
