Leigh Mathews & Damo Barrett both having a crack at Port for stitching Ken up for an extra 2 years. I really don't understand where these guys are coming from, we've got one of the best 4 coaches in the league & are copping flack for potentially keeping him out of the midtiered/bottom clubs hands?
Collingwood could sack Bucks mid year & Ken would've been the first coach they'd have looked at poaching, if that had happened we'd be copping it for not re-signing him. WGAF what a flog like Barrett thinks anyway & why does he have a say about our club on MMM?

It wasn't just an accidental wander behind Jobe, like a few technicians did early in the video. He was there from 7.39-8.34 and it was like one of those youtube videos you see where a member of the public stands up behind someone being interviewed and makes stupid faces. Not to mention that when a journalist asks a question, all the journo's point their microphone towards the journalist asking the question. Not Crowie though, he is still pointing the microphone towards Watson.

They just replayed the Barrett interview again & he's basically having a whinge saying there was no reason to extend his contract because he was still tied up for 2 years, he didn't even bring up the possibility that he might be sought after from other clubs & said there's pressure on us/him to deliver this year.
Ross Lyon had a year to go on his contract & we saw how that played out so i'm glad that we're repaying the faith that Ken had in us from the beginning, he even compared him to Brad Scott & his deal at North which was a bit perplexing given Ken's a much better coach.
Barrett is good at reporting on scandals and other controversial topics but he wouldn't have a clue about the game itself. The fact he compares Ken to Brad Scott in any way, shape or form makes his argument invalid. Ken is the man, Brad is a flog.

9 News doing their best to turn the Four'N Twenty sponsorship deal into a bad news story. The title was 'Poor taste' and they spoke about how "Port Adelaide had received a backlash from footy supporters for dumping Balfours". It was your typical anti-Victorian dribble that you'd expect to hear on 5AA. They then ask a couple of dinosaurs their thoughts of the new deal who re-enforce their anti-Vic stance. To their credit however, they did show Kochie saying South Australians need to stop being so narrow minded and embrace the opportunities that exist in other states as well as our own.

The SA/Victoria rivalry which is perceived only by SA continually baffles me as a Melburnian.
