If you're the Cavs, don't you wait until after the next season when Love becomes a FA and you can have Wiggins and Love.

They don't have max room though do they? Besides Love will get traded somewhere else before then, the Cavs aren't the only team he'll sign an extension with.

Oh I can't wait to watch the Lakers next season.

avg vets will grow tired of the plan and demand trades. trade for picks and expiring contracts = profit

Tbh I can't see you guys swinging very many trades.

Lin and Boozer are expiring deals in themselves, ditto the likes of Wes Johnson and Xavier Henry, and all of only marginal value anyway.

Kobe aside, the only vets with any value you have locked into multiple year deals are Jordan Hill and Swag, and neither have deals that would thrill the buyer. IMO Hill got a sweetheart deal this off-season with a view to a nod/wink arrangement in 2016 - essentially a front-loaded deal.

Have to believe you're playing the long game, but you're stuck between a rock and a hard place trying to mollify Kobe and his ticking clock.

welcome home Omri!

After 2,000 years in the wilderness?

Shelvin Mack $7.2m / 3. Life changing for the little nugget man. Did well to go from the last guy picked to the backup guard and was quite productive.

Had a really underrated season, deserves to be rewarded.

good post, but you know your facts are just semantics. the lakers will get things done, one way or another. we patiently wait.

thanks for the compliment. however, times are grim in lakerland this year. look, if you're not a shot for the title, then plan for the future

yep ala Boston. Ainge has done well, admittedly our picks we picked up aren't anywhere near Lotto, we have the most coming up over the next 3 years

1) thoughts on longer all star break?
2) gees dont the miami media jump off quick (some might say quicker than their fans do). a photo of thunder dan? maybe its education week - miami history.
3)
James, of course, is known for being part of the over-the-top, smoke-filled celebration at AmericanAirlines Arena in July 2010, when the Heat commemorated the free-agent signings of James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.

ouch!
