I said something very very similar to a girl once, didn't have that kind of result.

Saying odd things definitely does work sometimes though. Better than a straight out pickup line.
I can also highly recommend the D.E.N.N.I.S. system too. Very effective.Never spoke an odd word in my life.
Couldn't tell ya if it works out or not.
