Crazy stat - 6 or 7 of those guys would be considered best eleven IMO.

The Chelsea Fitness Coach is on more than Pardew was on as Manager NUFC

Hardly surprising eh? Moo - Cashley runs the club on a shoestring budget, likes to cut corners here and there. Our medical/physio/fitness budget would probably be one of the smallest in the EPL.

On the subject of departures, looks like some of the directors are jumping ship too - maybe they've finally realised that Ashley is systematically ruining the club?

Mike Ashley seems the type that would cut expenses in the areas that might not necessarily get much public attention. Nobody talks about physio room spending, everybody is more concerned with player wages

Well the Mackems just ensured safety this morning meaning its Hull or us going down. Very similar to the last time we went down too which is a worry.

I reckon too.

The AshleyOut folks have launched calls to 'Occupy St James' Park' after the final whistle.

Would be great to see a mass pitch invasion and protests for hours after the game even if we do go down. Not sure Cashley will be there but might get plenty of media scrutiny and ramp up more pressure on him to sell.

Lee Ryder ....... If John Carver does not get the head coach role, his role of assistant manager will kick back in automatically next season no matter who is head coach, or the club would have to pay him five years of salary.

Anyone want to chip in some cash?

My worry is if we go down, the club will make Carver the manager on a full time basis - on the belief that he can engineer an instant promotion like Hughton managed last time.

The problem is Carver is not Hughton - i.e a gentleman, respected leader and with a bit of managerial talent and nor would Carver have the cattle to get us promoted IMO (the team that got us relegated last time was stronger than this one - plus with likely firesales of players, we'd be left with scraps and dredges).

Really good article by Toon fan - Adam Peacock for Fox Sports here if anyone wants a read.

Steve McLaren has been sacked by Derby, might be back on the radar for our manager. Would rather get Paul Clement (who's been linked to taking his job at Derby). Would rather we take a punt on a young manager or fresh faced manager with lots of energy and ideas.

Judgement day is here fellas! Sink or swim time.

Hmmm, not sold on the team to be honest...Cabella and Perez on the bench? We need to attach the game. Williamson back in the side, bleh.

De Jong could be handy off the bench...

Job's right the Argentinian bull is starting for us;Man U's Argentinian is a vacillating vegan nonce by comparison.
One lousy one excellent attempt from Riviere.

Omar Little not sure if you know about this thread mate but feel free to post among you fellow Toon tragics mate :)

Last game today for Jonas. Hopefully he has a cracker. Been a great servant for the club. Maybe one last hurrah for Spiderman? :thumbsu:

El Galgo has been a champ.
Motivation can't be an issue.
Need to play with some composure.
Won't play on emotional energy for 90.
We'll get there!!:thumbsu::thumbsu::):):thumbsu::thumbsu:
