I was having a conversation (via Facebook messenger) with a female acquaintance this morning.
I was asked how my night at work went.
I replied that I'd had a campaigner of a night.
And I actually used the word campaigner rather than ####. Which I thought was the right thing to do as I was conversing with a female.
Reply was: Campaigner ? WTF ?
So I had to explain why I used the word campaigner.
