Good video on the website of the latest time trial and IV with Griff. Interesting to note he's been working on his running as he'll be spending time up the ground this year - suggests we'll play him up the wings while TV and Jack stay deep. Getting our forward structure to work is key to our fate this year IMO - sounds like we've got a decent plan.

griff beat home Newy in his time trial at least. Wonder if Vickery finished behind him?
With Vickery playing well before he was suspended and McBean looking to get a chance we need to find a system that uses 3 talls (inc.Jack), if its a strength on our list.
I like the idea of Griff playing further up the ground, I dont think he's suited to the congestion deep in the forward line anyway.

They're not great on sharing that stuff. Will ask though.
At a guess the top 3 would have been: Ellis, Gordon, McIntosh. That's the usual top 3 at the moment.

Hoping McIntosh comes good this year and finally gets the game plan so he can be our HB running man with Houli
Hope so too. But does he have the disposal and the ability that an attacking halfback like houli has to find the footy. This is the skill that is probably hardest to teach

I'm sure he was playing of half back in the vfl and then I heard something about tagging, he's got such awesome attributes in size and endurance, hope he gets it right, sorts out kicking and structures.
I like that Griff gives a little fist pump when he finishes, you get the feeling that was a big tick for his program to date.
See Rance starts in one of the groups behind them, but is there with them at the finish line.
And Sydney and Adelaide and Essendon...
