I don't care what we give, just give him what he wants!!!Surely 2.2mill over 4 years is a fair price for Rocky.

According to BigFooty bylaws, yes.If he goes bad do we get to compare him to what pick 2 would have been? *ducks quickly for cover while mentioning it was my brother on my computer who must have done (despite the fact that he has not seen his brother for two years)*

““What went on with all the homesickness or whatever, the reason the boys left, it was important to make them feel welcome right from the start,” Rockliff said.
We have to look at ourselves when something like that (the departure of Jared Polec, Sam Docherty, Billy Longer, Elliott Yeo and Patrick Karnezis) happens.
“It's easy to wash your hands of it. There was a reason they wanted to go home and we always have to improve our player retention.''
In Rockliff's first year at the Lions, Brisbane played two finals, while the teenager from country Victoria, who had made his debut in Round 19, watched eagerly from the other side of the boundary.
Nothing would improve the club's battered financial position, which club football director Leigh Matthews described in November as “scary”, like a couple more wins than last season's 10.
“It's been a disappointing four or five years since, not to have played finals footy,” Rockliff said.
“You felt (in 2009) we had turned the corner, but we fell in a bit of a hole.
“There's a burning desire to play a finals game and it's the main focus. We have to show our members and supporters we really are moving forward at the footy club.”
Brisbane Lions Vice-Captain Tom Rockliff shared his thoughts on Thursday night's NAB Challenge practice match against Hawthorn at Etihad Stadium.
Rockliff, who was rested from the Lions' side, took control of the Brisbane Lions’ official Twitter account (@brisbanelions) during the second quarter of the match to provide a unique match commentary for fans.
According to BigFooty bylaws, yes.
He summed it up with the getting drawn to the ball comment. Our guys looked like hungry chooks at the feed bowl while the hawks kept space for themselves while hemming us in. Happened over & over.
Surely 2.2mill over 4 years is a fair price for Rocky.
Tom Rockliff: Stormed home to finish sixth in Brownlow Medal voting last year and is the perfect link-man when the Lions have the ball. Rockliff works hard both inside and outside and is the heart and soul of the club.
Captain Jed Adcock, vice-captain Tom Rockliff, along with Matthew Leuenberger, Pearce Hanley, Daniel Rich, Joel Patfull, Daniel Merrett, Brent Moloney, Jack Redden and Luke McGuane will be among the inclusions.
Rockliff said although an inexperienced team learnt plenty of lessons against the reigning premier last week, it was time to implement new coach Justin Leppitsch's game-plan with a near full squad.
"Justin mentioned to the guys this will be a near round one team this weekend," Rockliff said after a skills session in the sweltering Brisbane heat on Tuesday morning.
"I don't think the outcome is all that important during the pre-season. You want to have a few wins, we won the pre-season competition last year and came out in round one and got belted."
Pre-season results won’t mean much to the Brisbane Lions this year, according to vice-captain Tom Rockliff.
And just as well.
Hawthorn thumped an inexperienced Lions by 131 points in their pre-season opener last week.
Rockliff reckoned they had not taken much notice of the scoreboard, only the invaluable experience soaked up by the Lions cubs.

And their approach won’t be changing in Sunday’s second pre-season clash with the Gold Coast in Townsville despite at least 10 senior Lions players returning.
Rockliff said the harsh lessons learned from 2013 had taught the Lions they should never get carried away by pre-season results.
R&R THE REAL DEAL
Redden and Rockliff. The pair are set to be the Lions’ leading midfielders for the next 10 years and showed why on Sunday. Jack Redden finished the match with 28 touches, six marks, 10 tackles and two goals for a massive 141 SuperCoach points. Tom Rockliff wasn’t far behind, finishing with 132 points, from his 32 disposals, six marks and eight tackles. Combined with Daniel Rich, Pearce Hanley, Dayne Zorko and the ruck work of Matthew Leuenberger, the Lions have a formidable midfield.
Two players who stood out in the middle of the ground for the Lions were Vice- Captain Tom Rockliff and Jack Redden.
Rockliff led the way for the Lions amassing 32 possessions, six marks and contributed eight tackles to the cause. His work rate was first class and he also showed clean hands in the high humidity.
Fremantle’s Nat Fyfe and Brisbane’s Tom Rockliff are yet to reach terms with their clubs, determined to win hefty pay hikes for their good form.
Their clubs believe they will keep the two, who would command more than $600,000 a season.

Subsequent victories to Tom Rockliff (2011) and Joel Patfull, who has won the past two years, sparked widespread debate – although both were very good players in those seasons.
Leppitsch said it would be inappropriate to reveal what reforms he wanted introduced but it is understood one major change he supports is increase the available votes per game to 10.
Leppitsch and Dean Warren have briefed the players on the proposed changes.
Rockliff and Patfull were also personally talked through the changes.
