I didn't think Rodriguez was a serious GC contender, hasn't he lost too much time already? Thought he was using this as a bit of a tune up for the Vuelta anyway.

Yeah he's already 15 mins down. He will always be classified as a GC guy though.

Good win by Kittel. Greipel boxed out but made a huge run to the line. Kristoff forced to go early as he ran out of team mates and nearly got there. Good, clean sprint.

I think he had knee surgery end of last year. Was doing his recovery out here during the summer.

Just watched the finish, thought Porsev should of kept riding for Kristoff for as long as he could, they werent getting swamped so no need to stop riding at that point. Huge effort from Sagan to get there by himself.

Guess they had to talk about something since Quintana isn't racing.

break aways make it alot easier for everyone really. Pack sprints aren't really that good to watch

I was mainly coming at it from the P&P commentary perspective. A larger breakaway means they have more riders to talk about, so we get a lower repetition rate when discussing each rider's resume.

That said, I agree with you.
