Just want to say that i was happy to see in the Boyd visits the Kennel video that Fuller was at the club training. We know he struggled big time this year and battled injuries so it's great to see he is working during the offseason (As is Dale Morris) so hopefully Fuller isn't a bust yet. Injury free and hopefully fitter we might be able to see why he was drafted.

We are going to be very young next year - it does worry me.

I may get crucified here - but would we be against bringing in a couple of mature players for a year or two?

I wouldn't be against recruiting McLean, Polkinghorne or Robinson for a year or two. (I may cop it for this)

Also wouldn't mind drafting Mitch Brown from the Cats with a late pick too for forward depth.

Other younger names I wouldn't mind sussing out with a late pick/rookie spot: Luke Thompson (Adel), Jared Petrenko, Tom Temay, Jordan Schroeder, Jack Hutchins.

there are rookie spots there for those kind of mature age players

keep drafting the young kids with our national draft picks, definitely huge no to McLean/Robinson
If you buy a box of chocolates and leave all your favorites for last there is
always the chance someone will raid the fridge and eat them before you.
Agree on McLean/Robinson thanks for the laughs boys.

Why? Sure we'll be young, but what will these players do at all? None of them are that good, and the ones that are have major mental issues that means we should stay away.

Again, people are overreacting. It's the same with height. You want quality players, and players that will fit into the group. Don't just get them because they're a bit older/tall.

If that happens to be the case, then so be it
drafting DFAs with draft picks would be unwise
there is a reason why they have been delisted after all

I want blood its past that now. Treloar of WHE take you pick I want one of them in 2015. Who gives a **** if we have to give up our first pick for these players. They can keep drafting in the top 5 then recycle them home when they want out.

Just taunt GWS at the draft by loudly telling their number 6 pick, "here's one of our jumpers, just try it on and keep it safe. You'll need it in 2016. See ya then."

Totally agree if i was to take a mature type it would be one on the main
list and two on the rookie with a maximum age limit of 25.The air gets a
little thin around the two picks in the forties and we already have Boyd,
Biggs and Cordy.

Think our young kids have done enough pre seasons not to totally struggle against other sides.

Yeah agree, I really only think we miss Griffen of our outs (and Jones a bit), but this is more than offset by having another year into the kids and Boyd coming in. I reckon we can at least hold ground and probably even climb a bit.

Agreed, i reckon we might climb up since we have a key forward to kick too and allows our kids to develop quicker

Yeah, but the hazelnuts and caramel have already been taken and there's only Turkish delight left.

According to the Geelong board, they are pretty shocked and disappointed that hamling was let go. They believe he is by far a better prospect than Mitch brown. Mitch brown is there Tom Williams.
Hamling supposedly was groomed as a defender due to a needs basis, but when thrown forward kicked a bag of 6 in the VFL.
Definately worth a shot I reckon

We should be all over Kyle Hardingham. Like him as defensive cover. Just got delisted because he told Essendon to shove it. Only worry would be the pending ASADA investigation and whether they're going to be suspended I guess.

Fuller has two hopes, and neither of them are much good.
Small and very slow, he also cannot find the football.
Don't hold your breath boys, this bloke is the worst draft pick in years.
Especially considering we could have drafted Ben Brown or Tom Langdon with that pick.

Honeychurch at pick 60 was a good move though.

In terms of the FA debate I think its another one we can get some nice role players to help us out.

Should get/look at - Hardingham and happy to look at polkinghorne too. Also happy to have a look at Blease too as he won't cost anything.

Consider - Hamling, Hutchins, Burbury

BIG NO - Mclean, Robinson, Lucas, Jetta, Mckernan

I also think if we have pick 46 and we feel as though all our youngsters that we would have a look at that pick are gone I am happy to shoot at Ahmed Saad too. We need to push Hunter, Dahlhaus and Hrovat further upfield and have a goalkicking specialist at Boyd and Stringer's feet. Saad would be a nice experienced alternative.

Don't think we should be looking at bringing 7 - 8 more 18 - 19 year olds on our list.
