Check out spine! Thanks for a late twist Emma :D

Add in Billings, Membrey, Longer, Acres, Templeton, maybe Parish or Tucker next year, and boy howdy are we heading in the right direction...

I was so worried in trade week that we would do something silly (as usual) and give up #1 and with it, the chance to get our hands on a freak...
An explosive mid/fwd

We did not! I was so relieved and couldn't wait for us to call out his name, some real optimism!

No crack at PM
If we had pick 3 I'd be rapt to get him.... But I do see him as a one position, lead - mark fwd who has spent all junior years as a bigger boy... Yet to be determined how he transitions to senior footy. Mids are always a surer bet, and in the. Modern game Allround players like Fyfe, Danger, Kennedy, Martin are the most important. Sydney with the best assembled fwd line in 20 years got flogged, as did Geelong from 89-95. BIG Games are won were the ball is generated.

214 hours after.... I feel disappointment and fear a big mistake will haunt us....like when I made comment in 09 and was attacked by SS members for being critical of club decisions (the Ball fiasco was bad/Lovett recruiting a joke) funny thing is, when it panned out.... It was accepted... Even justified

I read good things about ANB, but don't see how he fits our list. Already have Dunstan, Weller, Ross as inside mids, not to mention Steven assuming he stays. Plus Membrey, Murdoch & Acres who all will clearly spend time through there.

Obv Trout knows better than I but would have thought talls or outside mids fit our needs much better.

On the outside mids, Weller gets lots of wraps from ppl who know btr than me, but fwiw he would need to have an elite kick because he appears to be an outside player only. Plays like Richard Tambling based on the clip I've seen. Only my opinion.

Brett just said there's no reason Goddard wouldn't get to Essendon or even St Kilda at 21.

ANB seems like he would give reasonable spread given his huge motor (third in 3km time trial), so maybe not 'pure' inside ?

Hugh Goddard sounds like he could be the player we all hoped Goose McGuire would become. Huge competitor, great athletic traits, good one on one, good footballer.

That would be huge imo.
