To a degree I agree, but they have the best coach in the land bar none and the best development system. Actually rate their juniors they have coming through

Geelong and Hawthorn give their young players 2 to 4 years in the system, before they play regular AFL footy. Not playing senior footy at 18/19 doesn't mean they lack ability.

Hawthorn won't be out of a window! In fact they have just started, their side is relatively young.

How can you say it just started when they won in 2008 and 2013? That doesn't even make sense. They should still be up there for another year or two but their side is not young.

I'd be keen on getting Pat McCartin in the draft if we can trade to get a pick early enough to grab him. Ideally the AFL award us pick 1 when the new hierarchy take over and realise how much the club was shafted..

Take them both, they're both decent chances to get onto our list eventually.

Couple of other names to keep an eye on.

Josh Thomas and Kyle Martin (both Collingwood). Both too good for VFL and absolute standouts at that level. Thomas seems to be close to best 22 for the pies when fit whilst Martin is still trudging away at VFL level.
