Have had annual cover with Travel Insurance Direct for a few years now. In that time I've made 3 large claims and it has been a breeze. Knowing what insurance companies can be like we're more than happy with them.

Just letting you know that QBE processed a lost baggage claim and paid me out.
My travel agent seemed to think I was lucky as a lot of others demanded receipts etc ( which I didn't have for everything that I claimed on).

Get a credit card from Commonwealth bank and it covers travel insurance from any flights booked on the cc
