If Newton was king hit the player who did it should be rubbed out for the rest of the year. Time the sanfl took a stand against this sort of thuggery that is reflected too often with tragic consequences on our streets.
What the * in a trial game?
Hocking went off at opposition coaches and supporters after a Port player got hit high apparently.

with the injuries they got and i do believe there was two north reported , your mate might have to don the boots on lol
Certainly hope Newton is OK but might turn out to be a good thing. We need a unit who will stand up for one another whether AFL or SANFL listed.

It was Scooter Newton- head over the ball, shirt-fronted head high in a complete dog act. Came off on the stretcher with a neck brace - hopefully all precautionary.

Calmed down slightly. Hitchcock played a very, very nice game. Beamo is a real professional and will be a very good snafl player. Darcy showed some nice flashes best game (of 3) I've seen him play. Muffins got heaps of the ball but burnt it often, as did Kane Mitchell. Cam played his part but was another who lacked cleanness with their disposal. Scooter was a level above anyone else on the field before that unfortunate incident where one player was attacking the ball and the other was just trying to.....well not play football. Big Ben Harron did some good things, along with the Bruggerman and Sawford is a much improved player. JJ and Sammy are tough as nails for their size. All played well pretty much sums it up.
