I have seen T Hubble play once and he kicked 10 plus goals in a Jonathon Brown like performance against classy oposition! Did this future star ever get drafted or did he persue another dream because I heard the cats were keeping a close eye on this mobile forward/midfielder! Fill me in?

Your right the devastating ruck/midfield combination of Russel and Hubble were capable of tearing apart any opposition! But Hubble is a seasoned pro and any side would give up anything to acquire this skillful classy player! Apparently Dunolly were even considering trading their only excercise bike to obtain the services of Hubble who's skills are often compared to Winston Abraham with the agility of Ronnie Burns!

Word on the street is that the Great TKH injured his ankle after taking Mark of the Year against Talbot. Here's hoping he makes a speedy recovery. Dunolly defenders were rumoured to be breathing a sigh of relief, only to learn the great Matthew Barras is a chance to return from injury

A few things spring to mind here about this devastating news:
1. The league should consider not to resume any games until Troy Hubble has fully recovered so the MCDFL can be back on a level playing field I think this is the only logical solution considering his influence on the league.
2. This round should be named after the Champion something along the line of Hubble Round or Dreamtime at Jubilee just to recognise the contribution TKH has provided to Football on a national level. Or a National holiday in the name of TKH just like the Queens Birthday and ANZAC day.
3. Who is going to replace TKH up forward the obvious replacement is Andrew (Andre Nel) Nelson. The two of course are evenly skilled but Nel wouldn't have the presence a one TKH has in the forward 50 many of these issues need to be addressed immediately.

RUMOUR FILE

Word is filtering through the rumour file that T.K. Hubble is not happy with the hierachy at Rovers after spending the entire game on the pine against Avoca in the wet. Hubble feels as though his solid build and low centre of gravity would have been perfectly suited to the conditions at Jubille last Saturday. Word has it that if Hubble is not given game time against the Steaders this week that there may be an uprising against Scatter with Matthew, "the chosen one," Barras bein instilled as caretaker coach for the remainder of the season until either Mark Thompson or Mr Football himself Darcy Richards becomes available for the job.

Looks like the H bomb got through to the coaches and found his way back on to the field for a best on performance! This won't do Nelsons B&F chances any favors

Sounds like he is priming himself for a late run at that B&F indeed, could just about be ready to take the league by storm...watch this space
