Squiggle tips Saints at 51% chance -- What's your tip? -- Team line-ups »
There's no way Spurs will ever get the same fanfare or following as Liverpool, no way, if that is what the offended are referring to as being a "big club", currently though Spurs are the much better ran club on-field and off-field and their results over the last 6 seasons have reflected that except for one season out of the blue and will continue to reflect that imo.
Once the new stadium is in full force, player retention will improve you'd expect and greater salaries will be paid to better established talent, instead of having to rely on young talent on smaller wages all the time. Perhaps Spurs could go up another level and become a consistent CL team like what Arsenal have been since they moved to The Emirates.
We have played in Europe every season except 2009-10 since 2006, that's 9 out of the last 10 seasons in Europe including the last 6 where Liverpool has only finished ahead of us once in that time, that's pretty consistent imo and we have finished 4th not once, but twice (was only denied CL because of Chelsea winning it that year, when has that ever happened elsewhere? probably never).

I still like the West Ham one better, had a random GB style rant about West Ham then proceeded to lose 3-0 at home to them then lost the next couple, too, like a curse
It's personal preference I guess, with so many options to choose from you can't really go wrong with a 'GB's finest moments' discussion.
'Bow to us, scum fans' is also another standout, after Spurs went 2 up 38 minutes into an NLD at The Emirates.
Arsenal then scored the next 5.
Vintage GB.
He certainly forfilled that prophecy Glen.

Man that guy was really amazing, he is like reverse Jesus
Satan?
NopeThing is there's a big difference between finishing 4th & 5th.
Disagree, 6th doesn't necessarily qualify that team for Europa League if a minnow/mid table team wins the FAC/C1C that year, those clubs are relying on cup winners to have already qualified for Europe through the league to qualify on league position, same with 7th.Between 5th & 6th is irrelevant.
Would have been twice if Bayern Munich (Robben) hadn't have choked in the CL FinalSpurs have finished above Liverpool and qualified for CL just once in history.
You spent a shitload by the 2nd time we finished 4th in 2012 over an 18 month period (112.4m) with only one player of note leaving in Torres in that period since you started spending big coin again, you bought Carroll, Suarez, Henderson, Downing, Adam, Enrique etc, except for Henderson, they were all crucial stablished players at their former clubs. And that when the club was in a legal stoush with owners who stopped spending anything on the club. That situation / opportunity for Spurs is never going to happen again (leveraged ownership of LFC is now forbidden).
What a ******* doucheI liked the 'Let's laugh at Chelsea thread' two games into Rafa's reign, we then proceeded to win a European trophy and finish top 4 above Spurs.
We improved after Istanbul, we finished 9th in 2004-05 but came 5th in 2005-06 as we bought in long-term first XI players who improved our squad over the long-term like Lennon, Huddlestone and Jenas. To be fair, we are expanding Anfield to be just 100 short of 60k, too, and the past ten years while we had a dodgy last 5, we still won more trophies than you guys, and dare I say Istanbul. And while you guys' best achievement's been finishing 4th, we have nearly won the league a few times during that time
Unfortunately Spurs while outperforming us in the past few years, still hasn't overtaken us. I dunno why Spurs fans are so hellbent on proving they're bigger than us but well whatever
Bigger and better are 2 different things. Spurs are the better club currently while you lot are the bigger club
I've always found 'better' to be a fairly subjective term.
Not according to some around here, apparently I'm GB according to some of your lot plus the Arsenal campAlright that's cool, coz some other spurs fan said after the stadium move for you guys you would be a "far bigger club" than us, now that we've established you aren't one of those crazy ones then it's all cool
Levy is driving the American market hard I believe, our new stadium apparently will have a retractable pitch, so NFL and stuff can be played there also so it can maximise revenue through other means. Our major apparel sponsor is Under Armour, an American brand but he is expanding our brand into Asia also, we have regularly had pre-season tours in Asia lately but our major partner AIA Group Limited are Chinese and have departments all over Asia-Pacific.I'd also like to see how Spurs will apparently make more money than us after they move stadium when we are also expanding ours to similar capacity without spending as much, plus we will always earn more in sponsorship and commercial deals and so forth than them, but that wasn't you who said it so yeah just me rambling
