Hey I'm all for them making it, I just struggle to see how you've seen enough of Markworth to suggest we persist with him. He's been playing in the reserves reserve up until this week.

Not bad going for markworth considering many on here suggested it was all over for him at Stkilda when he hurt his shoulder at the beginning of this year.

He was fantastic for the last half of the 2013 season at Sandy (before the ACL).

Has loads of talent & athletic ability... he's always been worth keeping. Any talk of delisting him was by people who haven't seen him play & a case of out of sight, out of mind.

Holmes - hit out work was excellent and the way he tackled was again first class.

Wright - copped a poke to the left eye … will be fine for this week.

Markworth - provided good run for us and got a bit of the ball.

Ross - was tagged all day … we rated his game highly.

Saunders - providing a great deal of run … winning clearances and doing well.

Siposs - gave Arryn a rocket at half-time … he responded.

Acres - will be better for the run.

Lee - solid.

Murdoch - outstanding.

Minchington - took a little while to get going … better in the second half.

Shenton - played on Mason Wood and did a reasonable job.

Saad - working on his defensive work-rate … he is very creative.

Simpkin - one of Tom’s best games for the season … reported for striking and will miss the next two weeks.

Hickey - work in the ruck to get the ball going our way was terrific late.

Delaney - reads the play so well and provides great leadership.

Development:
White - four goals and had a hand in another five … presented well.
Payne - excellent across half-forward.
Baker-Thomas - good in defence … offensive work is improving weekly.

Reckon it'll only take about 1-2 more good weeks for Markworth, and he'll be in. He has a sorely needed attribute, and he's waited long enough for a debut, poor fella.
