I do have to agree with you on that.

Richmond the OWNER of position number 9 for many years finally makes the finals in a good position only to lose to (bum handed too by) a team who finished 9th before the penaltys were handed down.

I did enjoy that weekend
Ha Melbourne Demons.....

Correct, lets not lose focus on what is really important.

Yeah, c'mon guys. We're like the Justice League teaming up to fight evil. Sure some of us are Aquaman and some of us Superman, but we all need to play our part. ;)

As a result of ongoing inaccurate and mischievous reporting by Fairfax Media the Essendon Football Club Board wishes to re-confirm its position relating to James Hird.

The Board is unanimous in its support of James and the strategy in place relating to his return to the Club. To suggest the Board is split in its support for James is simply not true.

Given the testing time our Club has been through over the past two years, the Board is immensely proud of the resilience of our players, coaches, staff and supporters and have no doubt that the ongoing loyalty of everyone at Essendon will continue to galvanise our Club.

We are united as a Club and the Essendon Board will continue to make decisions in the best interest of our players, staff and members

I cant believe after 11 months the board are disunited.they have had enough time for all parties to agree and get on with 2014.There is no way 3 members are NOW against anything.
This is newspaper krap we are reading about.

If the board backs someone, it is code for you are about to get sacked.

If there was no substance to the claims of dis-unity, a club wouldn't have given it any oxygen by releasing a PR response.

Its a shame they didn't come out with a strong statement against the news limited journalist (slobbo) who stated the following in his article last week:

PAUL Little and his band of Bombers board members — some of whom escaped penalties over governance when it was their role to govern — have effectively extended James Hird’s suspension.
Hird’s own club has cast him aside and, for the first time, you have to wonder if he will be cast aside for good.

This is a kneejerk decision and Little has given an appalling explanation of why
