No, I am saying that was the logical reason for "Essendon" falling away that particular year. They weren't playing this hard style pressure that we are now. I agree that it will be hard to sustain this type of style.

I am fairly sure for a good three years they have been right near the top until mid way through the season.

The Bulldogs remind me of St Kilda in 2003-2004: young, exciting, on the cusp of something really great but still with some growth needed.
