Trombone Shorty. New Orleans funk. Saw the band last night at Billboard. Great gig, they know how to put on a good show. Had a Back in Black riff going in one of the encores.

Here for Bluesfest MEB_ & HBF . HIghly recommended if you get a chance to check them out.

Trombone Shorty ****ed my s**t up at BluesFest. Amazing.

Robbo has a soft spot for country music when it's done right. I saw Billy Joe Shaver perform in Melbourne with Kinky Friedman about 12 years ago and bought his CD The Earth Rolls On. ******* classic. Unfortunately his son Eddy, featured here on guitar had passed away but boy could he play.

One of the great bands from the sixties. I think Bowie did a cover of a Pretty Things tune on his Pin Ups album. I read Pete Townshend's autobiography and he credited this group's album SF Sorrow as the inspiration behind his rock operas. This clip is from a live recording of the album in the Abbey Road studios. Dave Gilmour helps out on guitar. Set aside some time to listen to the whole album. You won't be disappointed.
