Former Gold Coast player Josh Thomas got a two year ban (backdated to March 2008) today. The Pies delisted him as a result. Here he is playing with Zac Smith back in the day:

Alex Keath was also in the news today. It would appear that he has chosen to start a footy career with the Adelaide Crows. Keath was one of the 12 guys listed by the Suns back in the VFL year but instead chose a career in cricket. I believe he did a week with the club. Here he is back then:

I think he's a good acquisition. I know he's a quirky dude, but he knows his stuff.

Jason does tend to get wayward but as one of the greatest players of all time (and a Queenslander ) he deserves to be given a chance at the top level. I just never thought I'd see the day tbh. As long as he does his job and nothing else then it should be a good acquisition.

Odd. I'm starting to believe more and more the rumours that he was done for drug use and was forced out, and not that he 'lost the passion'.
