The most recognised person in Adelaide!!!

I saw him on Sunday morning in Hindley st, doing what seemed to be Tai-chi next to the Crazy Horse at about 3am. The people int he line in front of the club were transfixed in Johnny's poise and concentration and execution of moves. I didnt get a chance to say hello this time, but am intersested to see if anyone here has.
He is a regular attendee of our games and I look forward to seeing him there.

He used to be a not a bad country footballer in the mid 90's, could of done more but only played well in patches. He started at Sth Clare then came to our club Mintaro-Manoora when I was playing colts, he used to take speccys kick bags of goals and where his cappa tight shorts on the field, our supporters loved it as we were a crap side and when he got the ball he would either kick a goal or do something for us to cheer about. He was always great to us kids, at colts training he would come and have a look and used to have kick to kick with us before his big game. I used to get my krewcuts from his Dads barber and trophy shop in Clare. He started his walks on the main streets of Clare in about 95 and the kids used to follow him around, then he left town. I seen him at Alberton in 96 GF celebrations and I was too young to drink so I left the bar and bumped into him and had a chat him in the members stand why my brother and his mates got tanked. Seen him again a few times at games and down Rundle walking the mall, In 2000 when he was in front of us my mates were speaking about him and I said I knew him from my home town, just as my mates were doubting me he walked past and said Hi,
my claim to fame, this guy should be the new Power Mascot.

Long Live Johnny H!

I first saw Johnny at the Ashes last year doing the moonwalk, and the crowd absolutely loved it! :D

He was at the Power Kickoff this year wearing gumboots and footy shorts, and I admire him because he doesnt give a crap what anyone else thinks.

Somebody kidnap Thunda Power to make way for Johnny, a lightning bolt that gets around on a motorized scooter is just not good enough!

I was talking to someone today who said he was a reasonable footy player. Thanks for the fill in on his footy career PORT POWER.
I dont know about making our mascot as i think that he is good as he is.

Yeah he was more of a role model than a good footy player though, he was like the Warwick Capper of the NEFL just no white boots, used to where black ones with fluorescent yellow asics stripes, I can't remember but I think he once wore sneakers for the first few rounds of one year, at Moonta we have a video collection in the shed of old footy playing days and we got a few Min-Man games, I should compile together the Johnny highlights.
I actually spoke to a mate myself today and I told him about the Johhny fan club, haha, he laughed and we tried to remember what number he wore, it clicked to me as I was typing this, #28, we were those ugly woodville colours in a old Melbourne style footy jumper and we used to lose every week, I remember when we kicked our first goal of the year in about rd 8 and all of us wanted to kick it so we were arguing over who got the kick and hoping that he missed so we could get a chance as it was rare to get the ball in our half let alone the goalsquare.
I used to play at, back pocket, back flank but it was always good as it was more a rover position than anything else because the ball would always be down there.
When we had our first win in two years, we won 3.1 to 1.11 or something in muddy conditions and we all got a can of coke for our win, it was like xmas for us kids, we then went on winning more and more games and became a quality side.

ADELAIDE identity Johnny Haysman has described how he spends up to $300 a week webcamming with a pr0n star to express his sexuality in a national debate on Australia’s addiction to pornography, broadcast last night on ABC2.

......

Awesome that he is still around. I don't get into town for anything other than the footy, so I hadn't seen him in a while Lets hope that he doesn't lock him self away and gets out more doing what he does best.

OMG did anybody see Johnny on TV tonight?

had to laugh at his pink mankini and shiny silver hot pants. Don Dunstan would have been impressed.

I once saw him in my local laundromat in Queenstown. He had no clothes... just the ones he had on ... yep he disrobed ... kept his jocks on and tossed the rest into a machine

... is an unusual dude

Johnny Haysman is on this week's ABC's art program The Mix. He has a classic tight white swimming trunks and short white plastic boots and bright yellow single dancing by the malls balls and other moves. He's adopted the crows a bit I think. He has a footy jumper on during the interview parts half in crows colours half ports but different designs. Lots of dance moves in the segment. Up on screen comes in with - "In recent years Adelaideans have been asking, where's Johnny?" up comes "Well he's back working in the Clare Valley, but he continues to perform on his You tube channel." And show him dancing on top of the roof of a Popeye boat. Haha ******* classic. Watch between 6:00 and 8:40. Good laugh on a dull day.
