I have already seen headlines about players 'burning up the track'.

In past years that has been no indication of success and in fact there have been players delisted 10 months later.

Karl Amon (181 cm winger in his second year) is mentioned for the Power - how about your club?

Chris Masten has been training the house down since before he was drafted.

And Cavka at 18 years of age in his first 2km time trial beat the club record with 5.55 min.

Masten is reported to be 'not happy' in being towelled up by a 18 year old.

At least he wasn't lapped by Worsfold.:D

Nick Robinson is in ripping condition at the lions. Dayne and claye beams are both doing really well. Daniel rich is back at full training and hitting 60 metre targets no issue after his ACL.

Murray Newman doesn't like this.

Cavka looks like a gem, how did he slide all the way to 66?

Great effort for your first AFL time trial, looks a steal @ 66.

What about those that are recovering from injury or are on modified programs?
They're the fittest they've been for a preseason ever, and 2015 will be the year they are injury free and dominate.

Everyone is training the house down and everyone is the fittest they've ever been. Everyone is set for a huge 2015.

Well after I read the injury / rehab list at the Eagles you start to see a bit of reality starts to sink in.

Quite a few post season surgeries taking time to come good, Darling just out of a moon boot for 3 months, Selwood, Yeo and Sinclair all just had additional surgery but not major.

At least the season is starting late next year due to the World Cup One Day Series.

At Melbourne the house has well and truly been trained down. (Credit to ManDee from demonology for this gem).

But in all seriousness Jesse Hogan is blitzes the running, aces the skill drills and generally looks like a massive dominating presence.

Jimmy Toumpas is also running step for step with our fitter midfielders, whilst at the same time he's bulked up to a really good size. He looks ready to play senior footy if he can get a good run at it and prove a few doubters wrong.

How much weight has he put in on?

From this, during the season:

Inb4 ASADA probe. An article on the AFL site - google Marcus Bontempelli pre season - says he has put on 7kg. He was 85kg during the season just gone so is over the 90kg mark now
