Weller will go about 15, Gold Coast's 2nd pick just quietly.. Prestia and pick 15 anyone

If Brisbane come to the party with say pick 4 and Mayes we swap pick 4 for pick 6 with the Dogs and they give us Tutt or swap 2nd and 3rd rounders

The reason we would do this is we are after a mid and Brayshaw and Petracca will be gone and by all accounts we have an eye on Laverde and Ahern, Pickett would also give us something we don't have on the list.. so whatever we get from the Dogs is a complete freeby and doesn't affect who we will take
Bulldogs have pick 5.
Jason Tutt? No more list cloggers please.

Tutt or Jones would piss off Carlton if we need any more incentive
Why not try to trade pick 4/5 with Melbourne pick 2?

What about this, relies on getting Moore second round.
Brisbane get Beams
Collingwood get pick 4 and Aish

St Kilda get pick 4 and 8
Collingwood get pick 1 and 21

Melbourne get Heritier Lumumba
Collingwood get pick 22

Collingwood ends up going to the draft with picks 1, 21, 22, 28 (Moore).
We then save room in the cap and sign Danger as a free agent next year.

Really unsure if I'd want 4 & 8 or 1 & 21. Tough decision.
When I think about it I'd probably go with 1 & 21 cos it means we get Petracca, clearly the best player and a Collingwood fan to boot. I also like a few of the blokes that will get picked in the 20's such as Cockatoo, McKenzie, Menadue & Garlett

I just woke up...so I'm not sure if that is a dream or not...need a coffee.

The AFL better hurry up and announce what compo the dees get. Trade week starts tomorrow and it could hold up some of the deals

I'll be annoyed if it's the 3rd pick because Frawley clearly doesn't warrant that based on past performances (and especially his past 12 months) - the fact that the Dees overpaid him because they had to pay somebody on the list shouldn't automatically mean that he's counted as a tier 1 player / trade.

I read somewhere that the AFL will give the clubs a pretty good heads up about the proposed compensation picks pretty early on. It caused a lot of hold ups in previous years with clubs not knowing what they had to work with. They may not announce it officially, but the clubs will have a pretty good idea

Well they have already announced compo for waite and higgins. Frawley already has his welcome vid up on the hawks website, whats the holdup?

AFL has come out and said compo will be known the day of the signing. Waite/Higgins cleared Friday; compo was known that arvo.

As for Frawley would have been unveiled as a Hawk on Friday but out of respect to Robbie Flower it was held over. Will be done first thing Monday. Would be nice to know the comp before F/S bidding.

He is ready

Disagree. He should definitely remain in the forward line. He is the epitome of a specialist forward. Like Didak and Stevie J, he will eventually play majority midfield, no need to rush something like that. Let him kick plenty more goals, top our goal kicking, get some more hang-time. It will happen soon, enjoy him in the forward line for now.

McCartin or Wright could still slip to pick 5 depending on how the first 3 selections go.

If the saints go for Petracca I then expect the dees will take Brayshaw and one of McCartin/Wright.

GWS are likely IMO to overlook another key forward in preference of a key defender in Lever/Durdin.

Hello one of Wright/McCartin at pick 5.

With Moore already coming in, I would think we would be going for a mid with our first pick
