Paul Roos has confirmed that Petracca will not get to GWS. I don't think you can be disappointed in getting the best player in this year's draft.

I consider Brayshaw to be the best player in the draft and McCartin to be the player we need most. With Hogan being no certainty to stand up injury wise, another quality tall forward is needed and McCartin seems the best in a while.

If you take McCartin, (and you should given Roo's aging body), then of course our best choices would be Brayshaw and Petracca. My biggest concern is that with Roos being so keen on defence he may prefer Lever to one of the top 3.

AFC have identified 2 needs for the draft. Building the back half as we are a bit thin, and an outside type.
The back half is shaping to be more important and we will be able to get a good KPD at 14 and fill the other need with our later picks.
