Im liking the even balance in the totoal number of Brownlow votes between our initial batch of condittore (Ward, Scully, Davis, Palmer), our draft signings (too many to mention) and our later free agents (Mummy, Shaw)

Least damaging 30+ possession games in the history of the game. Lots of 1-2s going nowhere. Dangerfield, Kennedy, Selwood, all better. There is a reason he's the first brownlow medalist since Woewodin to miss the all-Australian team (it's because he doesn't deserve to be a brownlow medallist.)

Well done to Wardy - and to all the others who polled.

Very silly comment Priddis was a well deserving winner and his stats show he has had a very consistent year.
Agree. Its the best and fairest. Umpires up close and personal have voted him to be a very fair player. Comparison to Woewodin is silly. The meeja got it wrong again of course. Personally, Selwood & Hodges blood soaked warrior personas don't do it for me.

Priddis is always solid and is generally West Coast's best midfielder when they win. I agree that he's not the most damaging, but his polling isn't that unexpected - remember he's up against the players in each game to get votes, not against everyone else in the league each round, and West Coast doesn't have a whole lot of stars to take the focus off with Shuey (still) not yet hitting his straps. Not to mention Ablett, Franklin and Fyfe all missing chunks of the season while Priddis was playing and getting votes.
