World cup (of basketball) 2014

Glad the World Cup is finally on FTA, but still really disappointed that it's only live in the eastern states.
I know that it's the same with most other sport shown on the ABC (except WAFL and Hopman Cup in the past), but how difficult is it to adjust the TV schedules for WA, SA and NT?
Other FTA stations are able to show non-local sport live in all states, so why can't they?

Paul George just broke his leg very, very badly in the USA showcase. Definite NBA season ender. Very sad. Try to avoid the replay.

It was ******* bad. Don't open this spoiler if you're squirmish.
You have been warned...

That was brutal. Watching the game and thought it was an ankle roll, initially (in full speed).

Replay was vomit material. Poor bastard.

Rest of the squad looked sick.

So with Durant's self-exclusion, they'll pick 12 from the following 15:

G - James Harden
G - Stephen Curry
G - Derrick Rose
G - DeMar DeRozan
G - Kyrie Irving
G - Damian Lillard
G - Klay Thompson
G/F - Kyle Korver
F - Chandler Parsons
F - Mason Plumlee
F - Kenneth Faried
F - Gordon Hayward
F/C - Anthony Davis
C - DeMarcus Cousins
C - Andre Drummond

Not their best possible line-up, but far from a pushover.

EDIT: Guys in the USA's 2014-2016 roster 'pool' who won't be involved (for various reasons):

LaMarcus Aldridge
Carmelo Anthony
Bradley Beal
Tyson Chandler
Kevin Durant
Paul George
Blake Griffin
Dwight Howard
Andre Iguodala
LeBron James
David Lee
Kawhi Leonard
Kevin Love
Paul Millsap
Chris Paul
John Wall
Russell Westbrook
Deron Williams

Curry and Harden backcourt would be the ultimate offense.
This is what the defense would look like

Not bad at all. Anyone see him go down in the Finland game? My first instinct was achilles. Luckily he walked it off
Lucky it wasn't anything serious, just a minor sprain. Cringed for a second, but he should be playing next game. He played really well which is promising for his first NBA season coming up.
