He also was the only politician on Kitchen Cabinet to insist they eat in his political office rather than reveal anything about his private life. Nothing bad about that, but there does seem to be a lot of unknown elements with Xenaphon.

The guy has to be some sort of sicko with his attacks on Scientology. Nothing wrong with attacking Scientology, they have some weird views about aliens, like the Christians have weird views of ghosts and men with white beards. But Xenaphon has a history of covering up for corrupt psychiatrists who teach at the same uni he taught Christopher Pyne at. Scientology are the most outspoken towards the pseudo corrupt science of psychiatry. They (Scientology) are the biggest of all the activists against ECT. They spend alot of money in this activism. People have approached Xenophon with clear evidence of massive medicare frauds, altered records, violence and threats from doctors ect and he's shunned them.

Xenaphon also went to the polls in 2008 wanting Kyoto ratified, then sat back and said nothing when this liberal gov destroyed all action on global warming. Xenaphon was a member of the young liberals, apparently they were involved in vote rigging with him when he was a student.

Slightly unrelated but I once saw Nick Xenaphon at J-Bi-Hi-Fi in Rundle Mall, Adelaide getting into a pretty heated argument trying to return a TV that they wouldn't let him. When the cameras aren't rolling, he can be a pretty nasty man. He wouldn't let it go either and was quite rude. People could hear him from the other side of the shop.

He is the customer. He is entitled to return something that doesn't work and they are legally obilged to take it.
