ok so what 5 crazy big predictions that you think could happen in 2016? Nothing obvious like Danger will win the best and fairest or Hawkins will lead the club goal kicking. Some out of the ordinary predictions.

Here are five things that I would not be surprised if they happened:

1. Assuming his hammie doesn't ping again Josh Cowan will be in our best 22 by seasons end.
2. Steve Motlop will be all Australian (and we will still debate whether he is fat).
3. At some point during the year their will be a lot of debate on this board about whether Blicavs should be dropped (and when I mean debate I don't mean just the usual suspects but a large portion of the board will question whether he should be dropped like with Mackie in 2010).
4. Cockatoo will spend an awful lot of time as a centre bounce midfielder.
5. We will play off in the grand final but Bartel will be an emergency.

I can assure you, if we make the grand final.. Bartel will be playing. His experience and his ability to be a 'big game player' would be pivotal.
*im not saying your opinion is wrong, just giving my opinion.

I'd like to see a game, however, you want crazy....

1/ Guthrie wins the B&F. Gets AA, whilst playing off 1/2 back
2/ Clark wins the Coleman, gets AA
3/ Menzel averages 3 centre clearances, kicks 52 goals, and makes AA bench.
4/ bobby, seeds, blighty, biggy, and cynical create a breakaway footy forum called 'Just happy thoughts'
5/ Selwood misses 3/4 of the season.

Five and one are pretty good shots. 2 is a way out there though. If that happens we will romp in with the flag even if selwood misses most of the year.

Did LOL.

Edit: Except it should be called "REALISTfooty"

1) Rhys Stanley is traded at seasons end.
2) Hawthorn miss top 4
3) Bontempelli wins first Brownlow
4) Fyfe is a shadow of his former self (back)
5) Franklin kicks 100 goals.

1) We'll play a three tall forward line and by the end of the year Henderson will be in the forward-line, Lonergan will play 18+ games for the year
2) I agree with Seeds that Cowan will stand up this year but I don't think that he will be best 22, he'll play 8 to 10 games, Menzel will get nursed through the year playing a dozen games kicking 20 goals. McCarthy will kick a goal this year.
3) People will be happy with Bartel's performances down back by the end of the year, he'll easily play his 300th game.
4) Bews and Kersten won't get significant game time at AFL level.
5) people still won't like Murdoch's output but they'll be underrating him a lot

1) Lachie Henderson or Harry Taylor become all Australian (depending on who plays loose)
2) Mitch Clark kicks 40+ Goals
3) Menzel plays less than 5 games
4) Mccarthy is best 22 by seasons end
5) Motlop wins bnf

off the long run:

1. Josh Caddy will kick 40+ goals inc a bag of 6+
2. Chris Scott is forced to reproduce Bomber Thompson's "All of you" moment after Dangerfield's early season form fails to impress
3. Lachie Henderson to show his best form as a forward and adds 30 goals for the year
4. Jimmy winds up stranded on 299 games after a few niggles throughout the year
5. Steve Motlop wins the Brownlow

1. A Geelong player will be cleared after we challenge a decision by the MRP.
2. Geelong will win the clearances in more games than it loses them.
3. SJ will go all year at GWS without being looked at by MRP even if he attacks some one with a bull dozer.
4. Scott will be loved here by every one by rd23.
5. Geelong will play Hawthorn in a final and win.

1. Clark to kick over 50 goals
2. Motlop to kick over 40 from wing/hff
3. Lonergan to play less than 10 games (injury free) as Kolo, Taylor and Hendo are the preferred options
4. K. Kolo to request a trade to Geelong
5. S. Selwood to play less than 3 games due to injury

1. Horlin-Smith will be viewed as one of our most important inside mids by the end of the year
2. Smedts will play his best footy at Geelong once he returns from injury...and will then be subsequently traded away or delisted
3. There will be debate about whether or not Joel Selwood should still be Captain in 2017
4. Wylie Buzza will be touted in much the same way Shane Kersten was
5. Jock Cornell and James Parsons will surprise VFL watchers

There's not to much crazy about any of that.

At the spurring of you pick one I'll try and up the crazy.

1. The AFL will grant Geelong 11 home games in Geelong for season 2017
2. The AFL will nod and say all the right things to us and the press and then increase the equalisation tax Geelong has to pay while reducing the tax for Collingwood and Hawthorn
3. Geelong to win all interstate games this season
4. Anthony Morabito will be linked to Geelong leading into the Trade Period
5. Half-Cat will finally become Whole-Cat

That's better.

1. Richmond will make finals and but will actually win one.
2. Bartel will end the season as our best performing over 30 year old.
3. Neither of Dangerfield or Selwood will win the B&F.
4. We will beat Fremantle in Perth.
5. Karma will bite Sam Mitchell who will finally get suspended for something....

1. T-Bone wins the Coleman
2. Selwood/Danger tie for the Brownlow.
3. Nathan Vardy gets traded at season's end.
4. Kolodjashnij wins NAB Rising Star.
5. Jordan Cunico to play 10 games.

1. Hawkins will be dropped to the VFL for poor form
2. Hawkins will bounce back & turn his season around
3. Motlop will get dreadlocks
4. Guthrie will be nominated for AA, along with 4 other Cats
5. Tom Lonergan will return to the forward line

1 - 10 goals loss first up to Hawthorn has the knives out early, only for us to pip in the big dance with our Skipper at the helm.

2 - Zac Smith AA Ruckman

3 - Jake Kolo takes over in the back line from Tom Lonergan by round 5

4 - On a wet and blustery day at Simmonds we keep a team goalless for the entire match.

5 - Wylie Buzza and Ben Brown line up on each other.
