McGenniss and Warren are all but gone. Wallace stays for another year, confirmed with contract signed.

Right now we have 4 rookie spots excluding Wallace in the aforementioned two and Tippett and Turner. Those two will move to the main list, the other two will be delisted. We are also likely now to move both Harper and Nahas to the rookie list, leaving us with 2 RD spots.

if you push Harper and Nahas back does that then mean you will 3 live selections in the ND (i.e. ex Rookie upgrades?)

Yeah mate, spot on. 16, 25 and 36.

Gold Coast
Picks: #8,15,29,66,84
spots available: 3 live picks + Josh Hall upgrade = 38 senior list
Needs: - Best available
- pacy half-forward with X-factor
- mature ruck (rookie)
- maybe one more solid inside mid

rookie draft: currently 1 + 2 Cat B
The club has come out and said they will look to fill the rookie list with mature players.

Sorry am a bit confused I thought you had 6 picks so be keen for you to check for me pls.

Currently 40 on list
8 have been delisted leaving 32.
Josh Hall upgraded makes 33 (has that been confirmed?)
With Malceski and Hallahan in that makes 35.
To my mind that is 5 live selections plus a rookie upgrade.
Haven't heard anything re Ellis, Boston or Herbert so assume they all stay on rookie albeit thought Boston was on third year so may have had to go? I have it down as 1 rookie for them.

I would've thought both Freo and WC would be seriously considering him for their first picks but maybe only because he's a local boy. Not sure the Tigers would go that early on him, but having said that they pulled the trigger very early on Conca a few years back so who knows?

I do think that we'll both pick midfielders at 11 and 13 and both will be WA boys, so narrows it down to Pickett, Blakely and Garlett.

So with Simpson off you have 3 live selections .

What are they doing with rookies as haven't heard if any have been delisted. See 4 on the rookie plus Moller. How long has Moller been on?

Moller is on the Rookie B list and next season will be his third year. We have delisted Menegola and Woods which will give us 2 picks in the rookie draft.

“Our list takes into account our priorities and needs, to enable the Carlton Football Club to the select best available players when our turn arrives."

The Blues expect to have about 50 names on the Carlton list, which recruiters will systematically work their way through on draft night. Rogers says by the time draft night arrives, the time for debate is over – his recruiting team won’t deviate from his list and will always select the next name available. At this stage it’s still unclear who will be selected with the No. 19 pick, but Rogers says his first priority is a player with pace.

“Specifically we are looking for players with speed, particularly a midfield type of player who can play wing or high half-forward,” Rogers said.

It will make for funny reading if we draft for needs, only to see the inevitable gun mid, flanker or tall pop up as a value pick. The great unwashed still complained about re-signing Gibbs or taking Yarran, Rowe, Menzel and Cripps. You can't please all of the idiots, all of the time.

Pickett has been doing a Wingard stating he will do his two years then move away.
I wonder if it will work again though.

Cockatoo may have traveled the same route, apparently he wants to go to Alberton

Hard to imagine people would be unhappy with those three being drafted. Menzel is a really special talent, Cripps is going to be fine and Rowe has been terrific as has Gibbs albeit there were v high expectations of him. Yarran I can understand a bit given he was a high pick but there have been worse taking that high. Should remind them Collingwood once took a bloke called Danny Roach inside the top 10.

I suspect it will.

Problem is he has to wait a long time for that to happen.

We have 3 Rookie Draft Selections, and although we currently have 5 ND picks, we will almost certainly take a Delisted Free Agent (Dick?) and use 4 picks.

Gold Coast

The club has come out and said they will look to fill the rookie list with mature players.

If they go with 38 - meaning 3 live and upgrade Hall that gets list to 38.

Of the 6 remainging (ex Cat B) Boston, Herbert and Ellis are all still there arent they meaning they will take 3 in the Rookie draft and one is likely to be Raines.

Port Adelaide confirms Mitchell upgrade among several list changes

Power has confirmed Kane Mitchell will be upgraded to the senior list

Brendon Ah Chee has been offered a one year contract

Lewis Stevenson will not be offered a contract

Ben Newton has decided not to accept a contract for 2015, and instead will go into the National Draft

Tom Logan will also be delisted but the club intends to pick up the 29-year-old in the rookie draft

Port Adelaide confirms Mitchell upgrade among several list changes

So that now means we have delisted the following

Dom Cassisi (retired)
Campbell Heath
Cam Hitchcock
Ben Newton
Tom Logan
Lewis Stevenson
Brent Renouf (rookie)

Added 2 players to the senior list

Kane Mitchell (rookie upgrade)
Patrick Ryder (recruited)

Giving us draft picks 57, 75, 93, 111, 129 ---- (129 is the upgrade pick for Kane Mitchell)

OR

We will have 3 picks plus the upgrade pick plus recruit either a DFA or go for a PSD pick

In the Rookie Draft we will have 2 picks, the 2nd pick will be to add Tom Logan to the rookie list

Melbourne to take the 2 remaining of Petracca, Brayshaw and McCartin.

Pick 40 for a slider - or a hard line-running link man with good disposal.

53 upgrading Jetta.

We could still use PSD2, if a good option comes up. Otherwise just the 2 rookies.

Does GC have 5, 4 or only 3 live picks?

They've delisted/retired 9 players. Was one a rookie?

Traded 2 players in plus upgraded 1 rookie.
They must also shed 2 extra players, this being the last year that they have to do that.

That makes it 9-2-1-2 =4
If one of the 9 delisted/retired players was a rookie then it becomes only 3 live picks.

EDIT: Never mind it's only 3. Opening post should be updated as per norm.

Gold Coast started with a list of 40 and have made 8 cuts and 2 additions which leaves a net list of 34.

That leaves them with having 6 selections in the National Draft if they choose to have a list of 40. Is a chance Hall will be upgraded meaning that number is 5.

Rookie Draft would be 1 as Ellis, Herbert and Boston are all likely to be retained and they can have a max of 4.

Again if they go with a smaller primary list that could change but am going on last year and what others think most likely.

As stated earlier, yet to be confirmed. But it seems likely that Harper and Nahas will be put onto the rookie list, giving us 2 live rookie draft selection.

North have brought in two players (Waite & Higgins) and have traded Greenwood. Shouldn't North Melbourne delist at least four players from the senior list?

In 2015 they are required to have the same list size as everyone else bar GWS.
