Not many people have the musical clout and the sheer audacity to cover Bowie's Space Oddity.

Billy Corgan is one such person, he's covering a Bowie song but on SP terms and a really interesting take on it.

I think even Bowie himself would like it.

Had no idea that this was a cover - surprised me as much as when I learnt that "I Fought The Law" wasn't a Clash original.

My two favourite covers at the moment are soul singers doing classic tracks:





Also, does this next one count as a cover? They kept Bowie's original vocal and then recorded everything else around it. If you read the producer's notes on what he was trying to do, it's a really cool concept.
