Isn't he playing in the Northern Territory Know?
Would be very surprised if GWS took him after Isiah Stevens didn't work out.
Wouldn't be surprised if a non WA team took a risk picking him. It's been said that after the first 20 odd theres no obvious order, so why not take a punt on him? He'll either work out and your club will look like geniuses or he won't and there won't be much lost.
Fev kicked 9 on the weekend in the same side, while Manson didn't get a single score. Does anyone know if he played? Kayne Pettifier kicked 7.
was crushed that a few clubs gave him promises of rookie picks and being taled as a top 30 pick, when he wasnt picked he was pretty cut and given up

He was on the verge of tears at the draft camp in Melbourne (if not actually crying). That came out well before the draft & it basically cooked his chances.Whatever happened to young Waylen Manson? He was discussed a lot prior to the 2011 draft, but it seems he's fallen completely off the radar since being overlooked. Anyone know what he's up to at the minute?
Is this actually correct? Which clubs got that far down the path with him?was crushed that a few clubs gave him promises of rookie picks and being taled as a top 30 pick, when he wasnt picked he was pretty cut and given up
From what I can tell of the kid he hasn't even lived more than a month or so in Perth, let alone the other side of the country.I would love just to rookie him and see how he went.
One thing is for sure, is that a Melbourne club would have to have serious guts to take him on. Perhaps he'd be better suited to a QLD/WA/NSW club. Out of the fishbowl and spotlight.

It appears he's not ready for the big move & the pressures that come with league football. Not yet, anyway.
Only going off what was reported -IIRC he only attended the 'screening' in Perth, and bailed after 3 days?
What a waste of talent
