Last week we followed a good week of line betting with the previous poor week. We have now tripled our fund since the initiation of the Weekly Punt back in round 5. This week we have found plenty of value on the line to further increase our funds.

Why The Swans continually are underrated despite having beaten the premiership favourite, despite having the best percentage of any team and doing this minus their most important player, is probably the reason they have paid out on the line seven times this year. With Goodes backs this week against Geelong (who have paid on the line the least times this year – only twice) in front of the SCG crowd, we cannot expect anything but a thrashing and the -7.5 handicap offered by Sportsbet is just not right.

The big game this week between Collingwood and West Coast is battle of two heavyweights. Last time they faced off, it was in the qualifying final last year when The Pies managed to win by 20 points. Both have had massive injury lists this year, but given that it’s an away game for The Eagles – home crowd advantage won’t be influencing umpires or their players.  Expect Collingwood to do a lot better than -14.5 handicap offered by Sportsbet.

North has been poor this season but last week they returned back on the winners list. The Crows on the other hand continue to find way to beat their opponents but not by huge margins. North has not lost by more than three goals at Etihad this season and +20.5 on the line for the Kangaroos is a sound bet.

Essendon has not won against Fremantle or in June in over three years. They travel to Patersons, and we expect Fremantle to take this one.

Too many outs for the GWS this week to get close enough to Melbourne who have now hit good form. The -22.5 handicap for The Dees is good enough for us.
