The AFL advises the Geelong Cats’ Shaun Higgins has elected to challenge his charge through a written submission to the Tribunal with the outcome to be communicated tomorrow, Wednesday July 21. All other players accepted their sanctions from the Match Review of Round 18 of the 2021 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

AFL Tribunal, Tuesday July 21 (Financial Sanction):
Shaun Higgins, Geelong Cats has been charged with Staging during the second quarter of the Round 18 match between Fremantle and the Geelong Cats played at Optus Stadium on Thursday, July 15, 2021.
