I heard Juddy is relying on his 3rd & possibly his 4th groin!

It's all a bunch of Hogwash....Juddy is fine, he was doing altitude training in S.Africa at only 90%.... and he pulled up like clockwork. He will get through the last 10% by the time round 1 comes up!

Everyone and their sources (I'm talking about opp supporters "sources") are just full of cr4p!

Bookmark this.......Juddy Christ will be playing against Dickmond on 20th March @ 6.10pm.

I am not going to get into an argument with you (especially on the Carlton board) but i can assure you that he has been running hard enough for it to be giving him quite a bit of discomfort. I implore you to bookmark my original post and if Judd plays before round 3 of the H&A you can splash it all over the place. I am this confident. The person i recieved this information off has the best interest of all AFL player at heart and he would not make up such stories.

The problem I have, Sir Jimi, is that 4 months ago, several posters had spoken to someone who said Judd is going to Collingwood/Melbourne/Essendon, even bloody Richmond & their source knew because they held important positions at the various clubs. Then a couple of days ago, an Essendon supporting colleague of yours, Fogdog, posted an article from Bomberblitz stating that Judd's surgery had been stuffed up. This allegedly came from a 'surgeon' who was privy to details of Judd's injury. Just prior to that BeeDee told us that Judd had injured his other groin.

All of the above information allegedly came from impeccable sources. My point though, is that the club would not have him suddenly do a full training session after weeks of holding him back, if his groin was still causing significant concerns. Think about it for a minute. Does it sound logical to you?

Did he say round 3 or 4 or are you saying that ? I have a strong feeling that your "source" has simply said he is feeling a bit of pain and may be delayed, and you have embellished......And yes Judd has been running "laps"

The person in question said that it is hard to pin point exactly when he will make it back but he would be extremely surprised if he were to play before round 3-4 of the H&A.

SirJimi05, please read the following (source: www.CarltonFC.com.au and not some tarot card reading hippie who is your best mate):

A real positive from the final training session last Friday was Chris Judd participating in the full session, the first time he has completed a full training session since having a groin operation last year. This training session is part of the planned program that is expected to see Judd make his Carlton debut in the third week of the NAB Cup series.:D:thumbsu::cool::rolleyes::p:)

I tried to change the font to 46 so you could see it clearly, but I couldn't!

The same person told me not to belive any of the stories about botched surgery's et al. He just said that it isn't progressing as well as they Carlton and Judd had hoped and that he would be ectremely surprised to see him before round 3-4 of the H&A. He also pointed out that Judd is too high a comodity for the Blues and that they will take the cautious approach.

Isn't BeeDee the same guy that said that Ryder had walked out of Essendon or something? I wouldn't take him seriously, he is just a shit stirer. I know nothing about FogDog.

The person i know works with/has a relationship with players from AFL clubs in two different capacities. He knew Judd from West Coast under one of these roles (he works for a leading apparel/boots sponsor) and he also deals with players from all clubs under an AFL role which i don't care to mention. At the time of the Judd trade saga i asked this person about it and he said straight out that he had no idea. He does not comment willy nilly.

An AFL football club putting a positive spin on something. Thank you for this enlightening experience. It would be neglegent of the club to come out now and talk about worst case scenerios, even my hippie mates and myself understand this. :thumbsu::)

Yes he must have the players best interests at heart ..thats why he's telling big footy nuffys all about it .

Yeah, yeah......

Bookmark it.

Thanks for the chat guys, it has been fun venturing into the Blues cauldron for a few minutes. I am just glad i made it out alive (without a red card)! :):thumbsu:;)

I would suggest this person may be looking for a new job very soon, if he is privy to confidential information & yet is passing it on to others, including yourself. I doubt it would be too hard to identify this person from the information you have provided. Certainly if I was an AFL club, i would not be doing business with this 'big mouth'.

The information is not confidential.

Thanks for you're time.

Good luck in round 3 although i am sure you guys won't need it.

If the information is not confidential, then it is not authentic, because the medical condition of Chris Judd & any other individual for that matter is confidential. Just ask Dylan Howard.

All this bullsh*t from other supporters really just shits me. It's quite disgusting and dissappointing to see people express their happiness that Judd 'apparently' may never play again. To me thats just disgraceful.

Judd will be fine. He is behind schedule yes, but does that mean his leg is going to fall off? No. All this crap and speculation comes down to the fact that

a) Judd is the best player in the competition
b) Judd was traded to Carlton, one of the, if not THE mosy envied club in the competition.
c) it's the off season and people have nothing better to do.

seriously what is going on with Chris Judd can i get a straight forward answer because in hearing Twiggly saying that his groin is 95% repaired and that he is ahead of schedual then i get this he wont be back until round 12, then i read that he is expected to be back round 3 of nab cup.

Just to clear things up, im sure theres more heads spinning

Relax bro and sit back and wait for round 1 when he helps destroy Richmond.:D

Sounds like a stock-standard attention seeking bitter fabrication to me, to deflect attention away from your mess of a Club. Judd participated in full training. Focus your attention on the Dons aging list, no-midfield situation, and leftovers caretaker coach. It's going to be a long long season at Bomberland. I still laugh when I remember Hird predicting a top-4 finish in 2007. :)

I cry when I think of Hirdy retiring. No more swimming laps in his pool on game day while Tania cooks me bacon and eggs for breakfast.

lol. So true. But Matty Lloyd's comments are just as good for a laugh. Remember when Matty offered Ryder and Gumbleton up for Judd Trade Bait on radio a few months ago. It was inspirational stuff from the Captain. :)

True

I agree with all of the above but doesn't it strike you as odd that he is still not 100% fit 4 months after an operation which is generally not considered major surgery? It seems to me that is why the questions are being raised.

That's what was expected. Judd however set higher goals for himself and aimed to be ready by the end of the wizard cup or round 1 of the season. So Juddy may be behind his own expectations, but he's right where the experts expected. He's about 90% there (as Twiggers said) but it's that last 10% that is the hardest to overcome. This also came from a very good source.
Spot on.Judd is itching to get amongst it at his new club and is finding it frustrating that he can't.When he first had the operation there was an article explaining that there are frustrating times ahead during rehab,so nothing to worry about.

No, it doesn't strike us as weird that he isn't 100% when it is a serious groin injury that has also restricted Luke Ball. It's always been about getting Judd and our players fit for round one and not the pre-season as Ratten stated.

Funny how everyone isn't talking about Ball's groin, I guess they're bitter they couldn't sign Judd or hate Carlton because we signed him. :)

I think people aren't talking about Ball's groin because it isn't the same injury as Judd's. Or is it??

Wonder how he talked his way out of that one, when Ryder and Gumbleton approached him. I could be wrong, but didn't he also mention Jetta?
