Not really. But 5 years of being in mostly unknown territory ladder-wise makes us a touch jumpy. So when a feather appears over a rock pardon us if we blast the shit out of it.

Ur saying Essendon is the slowest team in the comp. That is a laughable comment. We have a much faster team than ur mob. Davey, lovett, dempsey, jetta, houli, stanton, lovett-murray, dyson and winderlich are all fast.
I wasn't bagging Kruezer. I was stting what people were saying on the draft and trading board. I remember Gumbleton. Everyone will know him in the future.

if u didn't realise, it was a complement by Schmick. Josh Fraiser is a good player. I don't think you know much about Jetta. He is a completely different type of player than Davis.
I guess you can also say the Dons have a midfield when everyone knows they don't. lol. Anyway didn't Matty put Gumby and Ryder up for Judd Trade Bait on radio a few months ago. Remember that? Inspirational work from the Captain. The Dons are a complete mess, with an aging, slow list, thanks to an extreme top-up recruitment policy. No wonder they were forced to appoint a left-overs caretaker coach. BTW just how many more Keppler Bradley's are there lurking on the Dons list.?
Josh Fraser may seem like a good no1 draft pick to a bummer supporter ..but to most, he has far from lived up to expectations ...I guess you have NFI about players.

I agree with you mate. Josh Fraser wasn't the player people thought he would be. He still turned out to be a good solid player who served the collingwood football club. Sure he isn't worth a number one pick, but he is still pretty good.

First of all, it was a mistake by Matty, BUT is he the coach? Does he make the decision? Knights stated their is no chance in the world he would trade gumby and ryder for Judd. I believe Essendon are not in a complete mess. We have a very young list. We have many young midfielders coming through. Also, if we don't have a midfield, how are we meant to play football? If we had no midfield, how did Lloyd get the ball? Davey, lovett, dempsey, jetta, houli, stanton, lovett-murray, dyson and winderlich. R they not fast enough? Ur team is very slow.

We are talking about the list here not the best 22. We have the 6th youngest list so u wouldn't say we r one of the oldest. JJ won't make our 22. That's only four. What do u want us to do with the 4 AA's and Lucas who is a gun? Should we just chuck them away? I mean u still have Saddington playing and he has always been shit and yet u kept him. We have a much faster team then Carlton and you know it. I think Betts is ur only fast player. Ur defence is the funniest thing in the AFL. Setanta turned out to be great didn;t he? Ur defence is a laughing stock of the AFL. U r in for a big suprise this year. We have finished over u on the ladder for TEN straight years. Last year we won way more games than ur mob.

Peverill is getting close as well. So much for the "youth policy" which EVERY club talks about, but very few walk the talk.
Talking about youth policy. U traded away Josh Kennedy who would have a very bright future, masten/palmer/myers/morton and notte for Judd and a dud. Anyways judd's groin is stuffed. Their was a surgical stuff up.

This is my favourite. While I always rated Kennedy pretty much every opposition supporter used to give us constant crap about what a dud he is.
Now that we traded him, it everyone seems to believes he is the next Matthew Pavlich.

Judd bombshell after surgery stuff-up
Carlton fans hopes that Chris Judd will bring them finals success has taken a massive dive with the fresh revelation that he may break down as early as July/August 2008.
In what has been described as one of the biggest trades in AFL/VFL history, the Carlton football Club delivered to their members what some supporters described as the best news the club had delivered in years. The news, that Chris Judd will be wearing a Carlton jumper, may be short-lived. It may now be a question of how long will he last.
A leading Melbourne orthopaedic surgeon claims that the surgery Judd has undergone is simply a ‘stuff up’ and it will only be a matter of time before the injury worsens and Judd breaks down again, potentially permanently.
A source close to bomberblitz has suggested that leading Victorian orthopaedic surgeon David Young, also orthopaedic surgeon to Western Bulldogs, was contacted in 2007 in regards to the Judd injury but the news the Judd camp received was not what they were looking for.
Judd opted for surgery in Sydney which has since been claimed as a success, however, it has been suggested that the surgery was in fact a quick fix and not the type many leading orthopaedic surgeons would perform.
Since undergoing the surgery, Judd has completed many restricted training sessions and to the majority of spectators, he looks like he is regaining full fitness and ready for a solid 2008 season.
