What players are still to come back into the best 22?

Aside from Judd who else was rested or coming back from injury?
Richard Hadley, Setanta O'hAilpin, Adam Bentick, Andrew Walker and hopefully Adam Hartlett.

I've obviously forgotten to mention a few.

Best 22????
Another that doesn't rate Bentick?

What has the guy gotta' do to get a break!? If you don't consider him in the best 22, how can you consider Hadley to be in?

Bentick will be in our starting 22 imo. A lot of Carlton supporters don't like him, particularly on this board - however i think he is a much maligned player for us and will continue to do his job week in week out during 2008.

I'm betting half of the people who make comments about Hadley haven't even seen him play in recent years. Not saying i don't like him or anything like that - in fact i think he could quite a handy acquisition to our club and could play consistently in years to come. Some people though just make judgments when they don't even know any better.

I just think with our recruiting this year, he isn't in our best 8 in the midfield, and probably not in the best 22.

Just IMO though.
Each their own, but how can anyone deny Benticks talent? I mean... 30+ disposal games and still he isn't rewarded with the same status as the likes of Carrazzo are at.

you guys will never learn with Waite.....shakes head.

OMG....THE VERTICAL LEAP
Saw you bagging him out on the main board. We will never learn? Big call from someone who registered last month.

Jammo looked quite composed for someone with so few games.
That's the thing that stands out about him. He already looks like he's played 100 games. A bit like when I saw Koschitzke's first game (OK, I realise he's got a lot to prove before he can be compared with Kosi).

I understand that, but his lack of speed and awareness concerns me. I don't know if he has been workin on this at all over the PS?
I wouldn't have the slightest idea!

It annoys me that he and David Ellard are almost identical, yet Ellard was named this week over Bentick (mind you, he had a nice game).

Didn't expect bagging Waite would win me many platitudes in here.
He seems to be our Bambi.

I just hope it makes a few people look at his game a lot closer.

Look beyond the VERTICAL LEAP.

What people have to recognise is that we lost at stoppages. Bentick is a first-drop on-baller and that's exactly what we missed today. Someone who could cleanly take a tap and handball to advantage. Instead it was a bit of a scrum which Port, more often than not, won.

The only challenger for Bentick's spot is (one day) Joseph and maybe Armfield on today's performance.

Nice way to kick off the year! :thumbsu:

Impressed with Waite, Hammo and Pfeiffer; Houla and Carrots were good as well. Also nice to finally see Jake Edwards get a run, he looked alright.

Murphy was quite dissapointing, should improve over the next month.

Can't wait to get down to the dome next week!
