Why daft? Is it "picked" as in their 22, or picked in their squad of 30? The former is daft, the latter, intelligent planning.

Both those players will eventually get game time this year. Having them as top up players doesn't hurt for when they do start performing.

Daft is probably an overstatement. I'm just surprised so many haev gone for the first year players where there are so many second year players who are cheaper or the same value and more likely to play, or get a more consistent return.

I picked Kreuzer for the money he will hopefully make once he starts playing , which should be this week . Carlton will use him a lot this year like they did with Gibbs last year and Murphy the year before .

Hopefully I will only burn one trade on rucks this year(the one to sell
Kreuzer out for the profit) as I have Cox and Simmonds on the field and Woods as my number one bench

Well Casha didn't pick Brett Jones after all. I was trying to choose between him and Waters but I definitely thought one of them would have a big increase in 2008. Lets see if he can step up this year.
