I drove down from Sydney for this weekends clash, and I have to say, it was so worth it. Rnd 3 of last years was obviously worth it, and this year's was almost as good for mine. Although it sucked we lost, I was just so happy with our boys efforts. A complete turnaround from the game against Richmond, we gave it everything against the Bombers and I was real proud of them. It was worth driving down solely to see Judd and Kreuzer =D (was also good collecting my free members hat :D )

Saying that, I won't be driving down again next week lol. Kills the whole weekend. But I will say that it was disappointing to see that Bombers fans clearly outnumbers Blues fans. there was red everywhere. Also noticed on the big screen that Essendon are 2500 short of 40,000 members.... Also today Richmond v Tigers pulled 70,000 so we definately have to beat that next week. All the Pies fans will turn up again, so its up to us Blues fans to get out there and get more than the Tigers pulled.
Their home Game, margianlly more. We made up for it in noise I'd say.

Also, navy blue doesn't show up well in the stands.

I'll be there as my yearly trip up. Been copping a real bagging this year and I'm hoping for a win to claim my revenge. I feel we are getting close to win as the boys are getting fitter. Painful times must one day come to an end, and I hope it starts from this weekend.

I'll be in M16 gold reserved section, and I'll be trying to sneak in as many mates as possible! :thumbsu:

Lets hope for 70k at the game, and at least 40,000 being Carlton fans

I reckon 80,000 will be at the game! in terms of Crowd support through Collingwood Will easily out number you guy's even if it is your homw game. the breakdown will be 50,000 Collingwood fans to 30,000 Carlton fans.

Hoping to be there...anyone know if my general admission membership will be enough to get me in, or will I have to buy myself a reserve ticket?
it will be enough to get you in on level 3 but you will have to get there early to get a good seat on lvl 3 so to speak.....
however if you do not want the hassel of getting there early, you can upgrade to a reserve seat through Ticketmaster (take your membership with you when purchasing a reserve seat) & at the "G" reserve seat will cost $13 extra....... thats what I paid for the Essendon Game for lower level reserve seat

I'm not so sure, last year there was around 65,000 from memory and it seemed rather even to me.

I went to both games last year and let me tell you Collingwood outnumbered Carlton both times.

In round 7 in front of 77,000 people and a Collingwood home game there would of been 50,000 Collingwood supporters to 27,000 Carlton fans,

Then in round 18 in front of 56,000 and it was a Carlton home hame there would of been 35,000 Collingwoood to 21,000 Carlton.

i think there may even be more than 80,000 i went last week to purchase tickets and the guy told me that there is only about 200 reserved tickets left.

Luckily i got a ticket and will be there to cheer the boys on rain hail or shine

Go Blues!

Are these figures brown, sticky and of foul stench?

The Blues will win this game, I'm almost certain of it.

I'll be there, as I am week in week out, level 3, first row, smack bang behind the big sticks at the Ponsford end.

It's a bit shakey at this stage, but weed the positive mindset to perform aswell as we can this weekend.

Went to the game last year and the lady at the ticket booth screwed up my ticket and stuck me next to (not in thank god) the Collingwood cheersquad. Very scary stuff.

Say those figures are correct, it's Carlton's round 1 home game this year.

So if we get 77,000 again add at least 10k to us take off 10k for you guys.....

There's your 50/50
