I remember going to Waverly Park for a final against the Cats in 94. After we won the minor premiership, lost to Melbourne, then faced the cats without Hocking, Stoneham and a few other quality players and got thumped! knocked out in straight sets!

Exactly! And that Essendon game years back it was the other way around, SOS and Bradley out (plus more I think) and Essendon were cocky and we got up.

Cockiness never gets anyone anywhere!

Poor form celebrating injuries:thumbsd:

Wonderful to hear that JD.

Josh looks a geniune gun.

Pretty sure you centre of Murphy Judd Stevens will run amok giving Fisher and Fev, not to mention the mecurial Eddie Betts plaenty of opportunities.

Will be a tough game for us even at home.

Good luck all.

I have no idea why we're all sitting here, expecting a win against West Coast. They've still got a fair few good blokes in the team, aswell as having the home ground advantage! I fear that we're setting ourselves up for a possible let down this week, don't get to cocky boys and girls!

Cheers Big Man:thumbsu:.

Hoping for injuries. That's the Carlton way:thumbsu:

Oh, we have here a hypocrite and a d!ckhead - you've no idea what a fool you look like for those of us who remember your mob's reaction to Kouta doing his knee in 2001.

Lets hope Kerr ropes himself as well would make the task much more easier.:thumbsu:

Average thread.

It would be much more likely that Kerr will rope someone else and end up in jail. Lets hope for that because it keeps him out for longer.

This thread is indicative of an acceptance of mediocrity. Obviously a culture problem.

Ingrained one would think.

A Freo loser talking about mediocrity? When you've been around long enough to even have a culture get back to me. Astounding.

I'd prefer to take on and beat a full strength West Coast to be honest.

I'm pretty disappointed at the implication by a handful of supporters that WCE players getting injured is a cause for any sort of celebration.

By the way, I would point out the italicized portion of the previous sentence to posters from opposition clubs who have been critical of this thread. :)

Nicely and succinctly put.

Have you got Olive Oil tied up around the back for later?
I think you may be referring to Olive Oyl - at least I hope you are.

Unless of course you have some sort of fetish for the cooking product.

we should beat them.... everyone else is... game apparently sold out in 29 minutes... but not going inconfident... what ive seen on from games is our lack of fitness... w.c. is known for the run and on a big ground could be the difference... we have not won a 4th quarter all year plus probably half of last year...

This thread should be deleted.

It really is disgraceful saying its "Amazing news" that there are injuries to certain footballers.

Get rid of it - you're embarrasing the majority of members of Carltons Big Footy who have respect for the game.

Show some respect.

I'm pretty sure it was the Freo supporters giving their team a standing applause after Friday nights game.

Talk about accepting mediocrity!

Come back to us when you win something significant :thumbsu:

Do you actually think that this thread is extremelly bad taste and in a way is going to reflect badly on your Big footy members?

Why don't you acknowledge the Carlton supporters who have disagreed with the sentiments of the thread (including myself) rather than making sweeping assertions?
