Surely the following will happen in terms of reclassifying Dream Team positions:

Carrazzo to the Backs, also a Mid
Scotland to the Backs, also a Mid
Deledio removed from Forwards, only a Mid
C. Cornes removed from Backs, only a Mid

Really hoping Chad Cornes will stay as a back but I don't think he will.

Any others?

Didn't Carrazzo used to be a defender who was then moved to the mids? Anyway, I think Drew Petrie is named as a forward this year, which is kinda ridiculous. I think it's based on his game last year against the Dogs. He should be a back. Perhaps back/ruck?

Bradshaw and Roughead should both be moved from backs to forwards as well.

Carrazzo to the Backs, also a Mid Unlikely, played the same role as last year.
Scotland to the Backs, also a Mid See Carrazzo
Deledio removed from Forwards, only a Mid Has played fwd a fair bit but will probably be moved to the mids.
C. Cornes removed from Backs, only a Mid Mid-Fwd IMO. When injured he played fwd.

Really hoping Chad Cornes will stay as a back but I don't think he will.

My thoughts in bold.

Corey Enright should be moved from the Mids to the Backs

Adam McPhee should be moved to the Forwards from the Backs and Mids

Marty Clarke should be moved from the Mids to the Backs or even just added to the Backs

My thoughts in bold.

Carrazzo hasn't played the same role as last year at all. He has played much more as a small defender this year, last year he was our number one midfielder (Murphy was always tagged, no Judd, Stevens was injured and Gibbs played defense), he's played much more across half back this year.

There is a lot more of a chance that Carrazzo will be moved to the backs than Scotland, i'd be surprised if Scotland was moved to the backs.

I tend to disagree

Carrazzo will definitely get moved to the Backs.

Last year he played basically as a midfielder all year.

Judd has taken his spot in the mids this year and Carrazzo has been moved to the backline for the majority of the year.

Cornes will definitely not be a forward. Only played one or two games there when he was injured.

Scotland has played off half back for the majority of the year. Will be moved to the backline and be also available as a mid

I was unsure why J.Nash was moved to the Mids this season, he has played the same role again this year basicly but i would like to see him moved back to the backs as that is his main position.

Ok, fair enough about Carrazzo, obviously you would know more about the blues than me.

Wrt the Cornes comment from the other poster, Chad has been injured for at least half of this year and played forward during those games. I have watched every port game (live in adelaide) and firmly believe he will be a fwd.

If so I'd definitely consider picking him up next year.

Pretty sure Ellis has played most of the year in the backline, but seeing as you are a Hawks supporter you may have a better idea then me.

Proud, the kid has hardly played any AFL. I'd give him the benifet of the doubt and keep him as a back.

Ellis has played a lot in the middle this season. Might suffer the same fate as Hodge IMO, even though Hodge gets a lot of touches in the back half as well.

Players likely to be reclassified as not a centre any more or given dual eligibility:
Dalziell (playing the Nigel Lappin role thus a back maybe... might offset the Proud move)
Carrazzo
Scotland (these two longshots but possible)
Goodwin (likely CTR/FWD)
Lockyer (as above)
McPhee
Veszpremi
Wonaeamirri
Nicoski
Taylor
Higgins (if we pray hard enough)
Ramanauskas

Goodwin as a forward sounds very tempting...

Hasn't Douglas played primarily as a forward this year?
Douglas is a midfielder that plays up forward sometimes...ie, Porpz and Vince are also both midfielders, that sometimes move up forward, more so for Porpz though. then again, so did Goodwin, and Johncock...a lot of crows players play up forward some time in their career.

just because a player has a stint in a different position, doesn't mean they'd be reclassified. due to injuries a lot of players get moved around to cover for them. ie, Bock will probably play out the season in the forward line...but is it long enough to keep his DT spot there, despite only being there because of injuries. he's mostly played back this year.

Tippett's been playing a lot of ruck, along with Moran, who has played back, forward and ruck; backline being his main position...doesn't mean they'd be reclassified. Tippett, will remain a forward and Moran will be a backmen (though, he might get classification into forward as well like Bock did...because both had to play forward due to crows depleting forward line).

btw, i thought Chad has mostly been playing backline this year.

ok people... the classifications don't come from Virtual Sports, they are straght from the Champion Data classifications.

they can't get all the rookies right.. and obviously don't make the classifications just for DT - apparently the clubs and the afl is bigger than DT (pfft to that i say)... haha...
