Home grown Jay Schulz for Griffin?
Your joking right. Young ruckmen who can lead the ruck are worth there weight in gold. Why would we want Schulz (and don't say hes from SA or he's a forward)

Home grown Jay Schulz for Griffin?
No, he hasn't. He is as soft as butter.

I strongly disagree.
Seaby is actually a very good ruckman. That's why I want to keep him.

Schulz attracted a 2nd rounder from Port last year(dp28) and we knocked them back.
He has improved plenty this year and is now likely worth more than that. In fact I still think he is a required player at Richmond but there is rumour that he wants to get back to SA.
How about we attach a third rounder to sweeten the deal.
Schulz + third rounder for Jon Griffin.

Then why is he playing in the SANFL compared to Schultz who is in the AFL.
All jokes aside and by the way i would like to trade my dog for your best players but in the end I belive we will trade players.
Not a bad solution really as I dont belive Griffin will be a player and if Richmond traded Danny Myer who I belive would be a fair trade, who knows who would be the winner in the end.

Fremantle have offerd Mr Griffin a 3 year deal worth over 300k per season and he has informed Adelaide of his intentions to move to Fremantle. Richmond have now missed out on both Warnock and Griffin despite being the one firmly after them at the beginning.
Working out a trade will be difficult. Freos pick 21 will be a starting point.
Being contracted, I'd suggest he may have asked to be traded.
Griffin won't be a player, you're kidding me. I've always thought he'd turn out the best out of the young ruckmen at Adelaide. He'll be a superstar in 4-5 years, mark my words.
People have short memories.
For the first 8 games of the season, Griff was widely touted as the best young ruck in the League.
He got injured and ran out of steam, but he was kicking arse.
I'll be pissed if we lose him, because I think he will be one of the Premier Rucks in the comp; so I just hope we get a got deal for him.
$300k per annum would be hard to say no to though; especially when you're going home.
He's contracted.
Not only is it illeagle to contact contracted players that are out of contract this year, but to actually offer a contract to a player who has over a year on his deal is very bad.
If that's true, the Crows are better off without such a petulant child. Nothing disrupts clubs more than the cancer of a player who doesn't want to be there...
Genuinely sorry for Adelaide if it is the case, though. Griffin looked to be a solid prospect for them.
Griffin isnt as noble and as good a bloke as he looks. He is happy to sulk and moan till he gets his way. Infact its all hes done since he lost his spot. Adelaide will reluctantly do the deal because they dont want to witness the aftermath
