After the bye week for Pittsburgh, I was hoping to take the day off and see another game. No luck this week though. I thought there was usually more on TV than that, maybe I missed something.

Re: Week 7

Even though I don't have HD yet, I'm so grateful Ch10 took the NFL onboard and it was always going to be the case that we'd cop the 'crappy games' but that's all part of the deal. Take the good with the bad folks. Who's to know whether they are limited by their choices or more likely the guy running the NFL game programming is just a tad slow what market appeal is all about. Baltimore @ Miami isn't a terrible choice actually as we'll have a chance to see the Miami WILDCAT plays which will surely test the Ravens D that needs to STEP UP to their brutal best to make it a contest.

Re: Week 7

The 4am game doesn't affect me so they can show what they like.

As for the SNF and MNF, well, we all know that's set.

What I do wonder is what will happen 10HD wise when the games are spread more.

From week 10 we see the introduction of Thursday night football (also thursday week 13 games during day and night)

So it's probably pointless asking but do you think we'll get 4 matches a week like week 1, or perhaps not get the Thursday game?

Re: Week 7

I drowned my post in sarcasm, i'll use one of those smilies next time.;)
This is BF, you always need to assume your sarcasm, no matter how blatant will be missed by at least one person if you don't include a ;).

Re: Week 7

SD @ BUF....hard game to pick
PIT @ CIN...pittsburgh easy, but we thought that about giants @ browns.
TEN @ KC...i think KC might put up a good ole fight in this one. (both have had a bye to prepare for each other too)
BAL @ MIA...miami easy.
DAL @ STL...st louis to win back to back vs the East.
SF @ NYG...San Fran, Giants lost cred with their BS game on monday.
MIN @ CHI...chicago.
NO @ CAR....carolina should keep stalling the saints progress sending them to 3-4.

Afternoon games:
DET @ HOU.....close game actually.
IND @ GB.....indy i think.
NYJ @ OAK....c'mon oakland, show some ability.
CLE @ WAS....washington to slaughter the browns.

Late game:
SEA @ TB....Tampa i guess.

Mon game:
DEN @ NE....denver will punish the sagging pats.

Re: Week 7

You dont think they lost credibility? That was one of the worst performances from a SB caliber team ive ever seen. Them and the Pats start their downhill slide AS OF NOW. Also, the Browns just gave everyone a kinda 'blueprint' to how to rattle the Giants now. The self-doubt questions should start to creep in too.

Had a bad game, and one bad game does not set a precendence....

Sure we won't be ranked as the best team in football by the media or whatever, but we are still a more than capable team.

Everyone knew how to beat us IMO... Just need to be able to do it...

That wasnt a 'bad game' like the Redskins had a bad one against the Rams. That was pathetic. I am bookmarking it for you now that the Niners will add to the Giants woes this weekend, and then we'll see more 'self-re-evaluation' and doubts on the Giants. Only a sound thumping of the Niners would restore any faith in them imo. A scratchy win or another loss and the Giants will slide.

lol **** off did you watch the Skins game?

Anywho, Miami game was pathetic, same as the Minn game last year, and same as the passing game against Buffalo last year... Did they set a future precedence?

And it was a pathetically coached game, I agree... Gilbride sorts out his head and realises this shouldn't be a pass first O, the better (ie the start of the second half was just an unnecessary play considering Eli hadn't been great so far into it)

Re: Week 7

Well, if Eli misses any games, that makes it even worse with David "the tackle dummy" Carr behind Center.
Carr is a decent enough fill in... Not someone who we will want in long term obviously...

Carr will feel so different behind a decent line :p Too fidgity, too worried about being sacked nowadays...

Re: Week 7

He's lucky to be alive.
lol did you see the first one?

Couldn't even see eli under the Beast :p

Second hit, Rogers went for his knee (Same way as Brady was injured) and then fell on Eli again at the third when Eli was at an odd angle...
