Looking at guitars reminds me of shopping malls and cheesy hard rock bands. Anyone got some cool pics of drumkits or keyboard stacks from the early 70s?

You a roadie smasha?

A collection assembled over many years, one of the few upsides of being old(er).

73 Tele Deluxe ((black), 79 Strat hardtail (black), 2007 Jazzmaster reissue (white), (shoulda bought one years ago when originals were cheap), 73 Gibson 335 (walnut), 99 Les Paul Studio w/Dimarzio pickups (black), 93 Rickenbacker 330/6 (black), 93 Rickenbacker 330/12 (maple), (my Church phase), Maton Performer acoustic (black/chrome), 04 Fender Mexican Jazzbass (white), 06 Fender Bass 6 reissue (sunburst), and I still have my very first guitar, a Legend Strat copy, which managed to put me off Strats for about 15 years.

Now having all that, of course my main role these days is vocals, and a home studio electro/industrial thing which only requires a couple of the above.
Funny how life turns out, but things go in circles with music, so I'm keeping them all, just in case.

I got six guitars, (well five if you don't count the bass)

Charvel 80's guitar (no idea what type). Just installed A dimarzio evolution in the bridge and a super distortion s in the neck.

Jackson Performer (Randy rhoads type looking) Loaded up with dimarzio evolution pickups in neck and bridge.

Gibson Les Paul studio

Ibanez gio (I know, it was my first geetar)

Ibanez musician (bass)

Ibanez PF acoustic.

some gratuitous shots

11 years in and i couldnt be happier with a strat.
Amp is built by Andrew Neale, Neale Amps, in SA. custom designed single ended KT66 Hiwatt DR clone. 10w, 10" webervst silver bell speaker and the best reverb ive ever had in an amp.

pedalwise at the moment, i have 3 red witch pedals (medusa, moon phaser, pentavocal trem), 3 overdrives (MI Audio blue boy dlx, blues pro, and Fulltone OCD)

and a collection of gear ive owned just this year (it was a big year)

I have a black Gibson Les Paul which is my daily drive :p but for special occasions i pull out my '58 Gretsch Hollow Body White Falcon, please dont ask me what i paid for it because i start to cry every time i think about it. It was worth it though, sounds like im playing in heaven.

I have a BC Rich Warlock, it’s an evil looking ****er, an old Valencia acoustic that has an action you could drive a bus through and an Epiphone Les Paul Custom that sounds awesome with the EMG pickups!

Haha GOLD:thumbsu::thumbsu:

Same as me

Ibanez: NDM2 - Noodles signature. Use it for gigging
Ibanez: AW30ECENT - Very nice acoustic
Ibanez: Hollowbody AF75 - Sounds and feels great but give it any decent volume and the feedback will kill everyone in the country
Squier: Bullet Strat - Backup axe. Yes, it's a squire but it plays pretty well
Monterey: MW101 - First guitar. Decent acoustic for under $200
Monterey: MSB-4 - Bass that I've probably had 1 solid hour of use from in the 4 or so years I've had it

Use my 200 Watt Randall combo for rehearsals, 15 watt Marshall for home and have a Digitech GNX4 for effects and recording.

The guitar is the whimpiest instrument in the world.

Can't hear a thing from an electric.

It's all done by amps.

The Carlton FC of instruments.

Like everything else in the world that needs to be plugged in to work, a complete waste of energy.

No electric guitars, no prog rock. Best argument against 'em I reckon.
