Damn, Montana is cold. Very freakin' cold. It was -44 this morning up the top of the mountain. At first it's a bit of a laugh and a novelty when you get a runny nose from the icy wind and your nostrils freeze over, but eventually it's just annoying.

Has anything happened in WA this month? I was going to go and check the Worst's website for news every now and then, but then I remembered that I would rather stick my genitalia in a blender than give those cretins the satisfaction of knowing that someone is actually reading that shit they write.

Freakin' awesome mate. I'm working as a lift operator in a ski resort called Big Sky until April next year and I can already see that I'm going to struggle to leave this place. It's mind blowing. Huge resort, great terrain, insane snow, picture perfect landscapes, awesome vibe. Love it. The people in Montana are fantastic too, real friendly and talkative. A couple of bad eggs in this country must give the majority a bad name, because I am yet to find a person who isn't likeable.

Mercanti in jail eh? It's funny how everyone in the state knew he was a crim but they couldn't lock him up. Seems like it must be about time. Can't believe how the mining companies are suffering, that was one thing I had heard about. My old man works for Rio Tinto and apparently they were considering shutting down the entire Dampier Port Operations for two weeks and Cape Lambert for four! It was not so long ago that I was standing on one of the wharves in Dampier listening to my supervisor telling me that Rio lost tens of thousands of dollars for every minute that the shiploaders weren't cranked up to full capacity. The ten minutes it took to drag a full ore carrier off the wharf and pull a new empty one in was considered as a blight on productivity, now they're considering sitting on their hands for two weeks!

I expected no different from the slime either.

Yeah mate, it has been great. Stayed at a hotel with my missus last night, been to the beach a few times and have been having a few barbies and visiting a few choice freo pubs also. I really need to get more work though, sick of having **** all money...

Sounds like you're having a great time mate, been getting on the booze with the yanks much? When are you returning?
 
Anyone seen the new Worksafe ad? (don't know if its only in vic, might be so ignore if it is) only just saw it tonight (can't find it on youtube yet) sadest commerical i have ever seen! even worse than the little boy being left alone on a train station because his mum died from smoking!

When it goes on youtube i'll post that one! these ads are getting pretty bad, which is good in a sense because it sends a message. I don't smoke so the above doesn't apply to me but the Worksafe ones are good for that message too.

Those of us who do/have studied what do you like as your background entertainment?

I've been doing an assignment this morning while watching the Back to the Future Trilogy... but now i dunno what to put in... i'm thinking maybe Remember the Titans or maybe The Dark Night (for the 5th time this week) Any suggestions?? :)
 
NFL is good. There's so many breaks in play you can do your work then while still watching the plays.

Of course you have to like American football first... but if you don't like American football you're obviously stupid and are wasting your time studying anyway. :p

Haha! i would be watching NFL... but i don't have cable so can't :) i support someone because im a bandwagoner ( St.Louis Rams) who i started supporting after they won years ago.... havent done much since but im still a fan :) only watch every now and then :)

Heath Ledger - Everytime i watch The Dark Knight i feel sad because i know he wont be back to play the Joker in the next movie... :(

Such a waste of talent isn't it? I don't think I really appreciated what a seriously good actor he was until I watched that movie.

It is a huge waste, I actually started to like him after Two Hands and from then was a fan.

I hope he wins the Oscar for best supporting actor (although i think he steals the show from Batman and should get Best Actor) AFAIC its the best performance i have seen. ever.

Everything we have always said about them being the most shallow and fair weather supporters going around has been confirmed beyond reasonable doubt today.

Tonights 6PR broadcast was a pisser, I just can't understand the sway that Benny bender has over this mob. Spiritual cult leader.
