I'm not so sure about this McMahon's skills are usually good line, a few yrs ago perhaps but his last year at the dogs he was the Turnover King & nothing's changed at richmond.....give Eade a LOT of credit for allowing him/inviting him to leave.....his skills aside, how soft is he!!!!!!

Then you throw in rejecting ports offer of picks 40ish for Sergent Shultz!

Of course Wallet offed Rodan for nothing too. Man could pick talent at the Victorias Secret fashion show.

Cops way too much flak mostly because of the way he looks. Really wasnt much he could do last night. He should play deep in the square and give Newman the job he currently has

I don't like him as a player, never wanted him from the start.
He's soft, and his errors are highlighted by the fact they generally cost us goals. He's no good at shutting down a man and doesn't tackle or pressure.

That being said, on a good day he'l grab 25 possesions and use it well off half back setting up play. He does run when he has the ball and can find it.

So where does it leave him?
The question that needs to be asked is whether he is in our best 22 or not..

Sad to say he probably does have a spot in the best 22 because he is a capable offensive player when things are going well.

It annoys me, frustrates me, I don't want him in the side,
but I don't think the coaching staff could justify to themselves delisting him.

If i had my way against the cats it would be OUT McMahon IN Polo.
But it won't happen. It never does.
 
He used to be a beautiful kick, then in his last year with us he just completely lost it and hasn't got it back since. I don't know how someones foot skills can deteriorate so quickly
 
Lack of ability and/or fitness can be an excuse for poor skills, but surely for professional footballers there is no excuse for being soft.

Unfortunately for the Tiges, McMahon is as soft as his mo.

Seriously, the more you hear about Wallace, the worse it is - they gave up Pick 19 for a player likely to be delisted; put him on a 3 year contract instead of two, and paid him a fortune.

Seriously; just shut Richmond down.

Thats just stupid! You have to be cr@p as well to cop that much flack otherwise Ling and about 20 others would be copping the worst baggings of all time.

Just while we are on the topic of Richmond rejects, what has happened to Jarrod Oakley Nicholls and Dean Polo? They seemed to have vanshed off the radar?

How about pick 28;yep that's right; Miller tells Port 'no thanks' when Port offer us pick 28. It's no wonder we are a rabble on the field. We simply don't know how to recruit & throw away draft picks on other teams average junk players.

It's actually around the 350K mark. He wanted to double what he was getting at the dogs as part of the deal but they negotiated down.

Seen a thread once where it appears that Miller has made a lot of bad decisions. So much so that they down graded his role at Punt road a few seasons ago.

How does this guy still go unchallenged as football operations??:confused:

Definately that little sanchez Moustache that makes us all want to punch him.

He's the most scared player in the AFL. You can see he hates the contact because of his wimpy nature out on the field.

I can't think of a softer footballer I've ever seen.

Yes, but as a silverfish he is the only member of the insect world to not go through any form of metamorphosis. This explains why his footy has never gone through any positive changes since the beginning of his career.

He can be a brilliant player.... when the team is doing well. His skills are ok when he is under no pressure.

The problem is, he is almost always likely to be under some sort of pressure in today's style of football, so kis kicking turns to poo most of teh time. He isn't great overhead, is pretty quick but certainly doesn't strike fear into the heart of his opponents.

In short, he is the ultimate downhill skiier and Callan Ward will overtake him as a player this year... as a 19 year old.

Yeah you really won that trade ay. You may have got a outside midfielder if even that who has no defensive attributes to his game what so ever. We however picked up a young kid named Callan Ward who is touted to play 200+ games for the red, white and blue.

McMahon doesnt have another 3 years left in him to be honest so guess we win this deal again mate.

strange thing about his kicking. all this has happened since he went to tiger land. the other strange thing is the tigers are all struggling with their kicking and other basic skills. i wonder what the common denominator is here?

polo should be playing but wallace prefers speeding marshmellows to tough nuts with good skills and a brain.

His last year at the dogs his kicking was very ordinary. Turnover king.
